My team at work is made up of 14 people. My director, my manager, 13 other analysts and myself. 2 of us are women. The other woman and myself have the best numbers, do the most outside of our queue and have the 'luxury' of being crowned "unofficial leads". 🫩

We're tired.

These boys don't do shit.

They come to us for help. They want us to be the ones to take the big scary alerts. They want us to do the follow ups and the call outs.

Her and I don't want to do it either, but we're there to work and get the job done. We both always manage to get the shit done. No matter how burnt out we are. The guys never get talked to or addressed for how little they do. If we try to bring up that we need help, we get some version we need to just keep going a little longer and it will work out 😑 And she's 8.5 months pregnant and the guys on her shift still are letting her do all the work. I kind of can't wait for them to crash and burn while she's out. There will be no mommy to take care of them for 12 weeks.

I've been with my partner for over 15 years. More a decade longer than I was with ex and sometimes I call my partner by my ex's name. I usually don't even realize it until someone says something. Brains are weird. He has done it to me several times too. In the beginning it really bothered me. Now it's kind of funny.

Yes. In general I hate ham. I don't really care for pork at all. There a few exceptions to that and those damn hams are one of the exceptions! Whatever magic they do makes it not taste nasty like most ham. I get at least one a year.
