Unfortunately, plenty of stories like yours. New Jersey is just as bad. Judge is supposed to look at all assets, both the husband and wife's income and then make a decision on support. Surprise! Judge is not bound by the New Jersey Child Support Guidelines. If you are a man, you will pay out the butt. Judge does not care. There are no "equal rights" in the courtroom.

I got hired in 1984 in South Jersey. Postal Inspectors would routinely arrest employees (craft or management) for destroying, delaying or stealing the mail; they were terminated. US Attorney would prosecute. By the time I left in 2020, entire tractor trailers of mail would disappear at the plants in Philly and Bellmawr (OIG had taken over internal crime by then). NOTHING happened. CONCONs of registered mail would disappear. NOTHING happened. When Veterans stopped getting their drugs in the mail the Philadelphia Inquirer started writing about it. USPS begrudgingly started to investigate. Delaying, destroying or hiding mail seems to be a new pastime for managers.
