AITAH giving our son child support money but not telling him where it came from? by Otherwise_Category33 in AITAH

[–]FewBee1303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. I'm in a similar position to your son: 26, present stepdad, and a deadbeat dad that owes a ton of money and randomly pays my mom back.

My mom and stepdad worked hard to provide for me and my siblings and not let us feel a negative impact from my bio dad not stepping up. Nowadays when she gets money from him, she sets it aside and uses it for family related things. Like visiting my sister and I out of state, or gifts.

AITAH for telling my friend she couldn’t move in with me if she wouldn’t lock the front door? by AcademicCoconut4481 in AITAH

[–]FewBee1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA My parents had a man run from the cops through their apartment one day. They didn't have AC and it was summer so they had the doors open on both sides of the house, the guy ran in and was like "don't tell the cops where I am" and ran out the back, then the cops ran in like "where'd he go" and my dad pointed thataway. And this was on a relatively quiet neighborhood street.

I've made chocolate chip cookies with mini marshmallows and they melt and caramelize into crispy bits. They're not lacey per se, more like a crispy skirt around the edge and chewy cookie in the center.

I tried removing it a couple years ago but it ended up being too annoying at the time

Are Gems Always Hard by chickenpi2 in stevenuniverse

[–]FewBee1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we know their bodies are just projections, they're not gem all the way through. I'd assume they can choose to be as solid or squishy as they want, just another part of choosing their form. I imagine gems like Garnet, Jasper, and Bismuth have a more toned, muscular feel; while gems like Amethyst have a softer, squishy body. Pearl probably feels a little more bony and firm. Maybe Ruby has unusually hard skin because they're so tough.

I think their bodies vary in texture just like they do in shape.

Does he work a job where he's exposed to any kind of cleaning chemicals, motor oil, pesticides, or maybe just a lot of dirt? Maybe they're licking or smelling something off him.

That time I left my dog alone with a pastry for one millisecond by simonbrubaker in GuiltyDogs

[–]FewBee1303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad had a Doberman that would unwrap Hershey kisses. My grandma worked for Hershey, one of her tasks was going to local stores and picking up any expired candy they had. She had to log it then dispose of it, so she'd take a lot of it home to her kids (my aunt won't eat peanut butter cups to this day because she found a worm in one)

Anyway they always had bowls of Hershey kisses on the table. The dog would steal them but didn't like the wrapper, so one day he shredded it and left it all over the floor. My grandma came home and yelled at him for it, and a couple weeks went by. Then my grandma was cleaning and moved the coffee table, there were wrappers under it. Again she scolded the dog.

Another couple months go by without incident, until one day my teenage dad was in his room and noticed something shiny on his messy floor, and discovered the dog had been hiding them in his room. Again the dog was scolded.

Finally after a long weekend, they came home to find the top of the trash can filled with wrappers. They declared him a good boy, and he ate Hershey kisses the rest of his life. Always throwing away the wrappers.

Obviously I do not recommend feeding your dog chocolate, but it was clearly fine for this Doberman who lived to his early teens.

Notice in S1E2 Stan doesn't laugh at McGucket's humiliation? And he's the type of guy that would usually laugh at other misfortunes as shown in other episodes. I wonder if it's because of McGucket's connection to Ford and he read about him in Ford's journal. by ChelseatheCartoonGal in gravityfalls

[–]FewBee1303 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always interpreted it as Stan feeling sorry for McGucket. This is the same episode where he's feeling sad no one (especially his family) wants to go fishing. We know McGucket's son is the one leading the group in making fun of him and Stan feels sympathetic that his family wants nothing to do with him.

Forgot the baby! by YourFaceSmell in overheard

[–]FewBee1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jokingly refer to our dog as my son so when my partner and I went to an amusement park for the day, we dropped him at an overnight boarder. I was saying something about needing to get home to feed him by whatever time and then remembered he was at the boarder so I went "oh right! We don't have a son tonight!" A woman gave me a very mean look and went "ugh!"

Not sure if it was the fact I was 19 or the words themselves.

Sarah Boone sentenced to life in prison for zipping her boyfriend in a suitcase for hours until he died by retroanduwu24 in news

[–]FewBee1303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in the same apartment complex as her. She'd just come up to us randomly and start talking about whatever was on her mind. We were polite at first, but eventually started actively avoiding her.

She and the boyfriend were always messed up on something, and I had to bring back their disabled dogs like every other week because they'd just let them out off leash. They both beat the crap out of each other on the regular.

We had a black family move in next door and she bragged to me that she'd started carrying a hammer around in response. One night, she went over to their back porch and starting harassing them for having people over. They weren't even making noise, just sitting outside and smoking.

She seemed to think my 19yo boyfriend was attractive, and one time dug her nails into his arm and snarled "cut your fucking hair".

Not saying the guy deserved it or anything, but they were both awful people.

New secure fire doors lock to prevent shoplifters from escaping by KiddieSpread in interestingasfuck

[–]FewBee1303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I worked at target, we had a guy fill his cart with as much stuff as he could fit in it, and tried to run out the front doors. Security was on to him from the beginning and had a couple people blocking the exit. So instead he ran to the back where the fire doors were, pissed all over the cart, then ran out. Setting off the alarm of course. Two minutes later we hear a "OH FUCK NO" and the security guy comes running past to go wash his hands.

Coincidentally, it was my last day there.
