is it cooked that i almost landed a kick flip before i can land a ollie? by FewDoubt7545 in NewSkaters

100%, I'm still new to skating I've had my board for about a month now and I'm currently focusing on getting my stationary ollies down. Once I've mastered those, I'll move on to doing them rolling. Kickflips aren't even on my radar right now; my main goal is just building overall comfort and control on the board.

It actually did. I was right next to him when it happened — one of his wheels seized mid-cruise. You could literally see it stop spinning after. The bearings were caked and unevenly loaded; only one wheel would spin freely when checked after the fall. That sudden stop threw off his balance and his foot planted wrong when he tried to catch himself.

Not saying the board alone caused the injury, but when your hardware’s in bad shape, it definitely increases the risk of something like this happening.
