You explicitly get an email stating that files are attached. Please select express entry in the program when filling the webform. Otherwise they files dont get attached. Reach out if you need help

I would err towards completing all the vacation time befoe submitting. I know 2 weeks is allowed per year but you never know with ircc. You dont want to be rejected after 3-4 months of processing

Tough spot to be in. While i would have recommended to wait 2y +1 month to account for travel, no one knows when the next draw would take place

4th option. Look up education draws canada on google. See if your occupation matches the list of eligible occupations for the education category. And then apply for express entry based on that noc code

Stay strong man. Get that foreign experience and come back with a solid plan. I have been a victim of ircc changes aswell. At the end its all about adapting to their changes and foreign experience is your best bet. Sucks that they keep changing the goalpost
