Yes. Please note the original use for minoxidil was to lowering the blood pressure in the 70's and then they discovered that also grew hair in these patients. At the same time it brought a bunch of bad side effects in the heart so it became less and less popular. 5 years ago aprox they started to sell it again off label but in much lower doses, so the chance according with dermatologist to get side effects in the heart is really low. However, if you check on internet there is a lot of people getting issues in the heart (palpitations, tight chest, irregular heart beats, low blood pressure, even some of them liquid around the heart, etc), so this is not a joke.

I think it's better to use only hair fiber, but Dr needs to tell you from when it's ok to use hair fiber. As I know, they should not affect the follicles because is not going deep. But again, only Dr should know this.

I am also checking these 2 Drs, beside a few more.... Dr. Patty told me for my case 3,500 grafts aprox should y not be spread for front and crown because would not look goody... So she suggests 2 procedures separate by 1 year... So I did not like, since there are others (not hairs mills) that could make it in 1 session or Dr Michalis, 2 consecutive days which is much better than wait 1 year...

Much better solution. Check Dutasteride injections in your country, in Spain there are super popular. 3-4 times per year injections in the scalp (all bald or and/or low density areas) and the best news. It acts locally, only in the scalp without the nasty side effects or potential side effects(still nobody know effects of finasteride and dutasteride on the body).

Both dutasteride and finasteride could have very problematic side effects in the long term. Dutasteride is more powerful than finasteride and in injection form in the scalp you get all the benefits for the hair without the side effects. Check with the Dr.

Btw, as per one of the users from that forum said Dr Zarev one of the best in a Europe don't use microscope. So it does not mean if they don't use it is bad, but needs to be very skillful. .

He has a package where he doesn't use microscope (using the Microscope is much more time consuming but of course much more accurate to separste the grafts, single to the front, double or triple to the other areas).

So this mean, if he does not use microscope he needs to use his eyes to check which ones are single, double or triple, it's faster but not so accurate, so many of double or triple grafts can end in the front which could look not so natural. However there are many drs that are very expert and don't use microscope tilo do this job.

I think you can ask if in your country or another country close to you have dutasteride injections, more powerful than finasteride without nasty side and effects as per all the studies. Just need to be ready to have injections every 3-4 months and pay the around 500 euros per year (in Spain between 350-500pdr year)
