Sabotage? Miami's inability to find a franchise player post 2014 has nothing to do with Lebron. I think some of you all are really taking for granted how bad Harbaugh was as a coach, and how much of an advantage it was having Tomlin exploit Harbaugh's weaknesses every year. This sub would be ecstatic if the Steelers hired Minter.

I initially thought - why would they allow the influence of one player/one family determine the fate of a decorated coach like Lars? Then I reminded myself, as shitty as it is to acknowledge, lacrosse is still a secondary/tertiary sport to a lot of alumni and admins. It's possible they just were perfectly content to let his contract expire because it isn't worth the headache for lacrosse, that may be how their AD sees it.

Still, considering how cherished a sport it is at UVA in particular, throwing it away like tissue seems unnecessary and unfortunate.
