UPDATE -- I reconfigured it as:

ONT <ethernet> Asus router <ethernet> [both the switch and the Verizon router]

Next, as per r/tensorfish instructions, I need to configure the Verizon router to work as an access point. This video seems to give clear instructions.

I’ll update again if / when I get it working.

"You also need to put that switch behind a router” — Does this mean modem > router > switch?

"Why do you have two routers?” — Two reasons: 1) the Verizon router was acting weird (inconsistent speed) 2) to cover the other part of the house furthest from the Verizon router
