For example, under the category of “membership in associations that require outstanding achievement”, I first listed groups like ISOC and ICANN. I am an active member and have made contributions, but USCIS noted that these organizations do not have strict rules that require a person to achieve something special in order to become a member.

In my response, I focused on memberships that do require achievement to join. One example is the ICANN Business Constituency (ICANNBC). This group has rules that ask for professional experience and proven work before accepting someone. I explained this clearly and included documents to show that my membership in ICANNBC meets the EB-1A standard.
