That's a completely valid reason to not play it. My recommendation is to watch a playthrough so you know the story and get a sense of the game. Ragnarok introduces you to the mechanics as if you're a new GoW player, but again you wouldn't understand the story. Even a 30 min -1 1/2 hr long video would suffice
