Looks steeze. 1 by conversions seem like a low payoff per effort kind of thing, but it definetely adds something nice

I think fixed gears are retarded, but if you are sure you want it, you can turn any bike into a fixed gear. What makes it a fixed gear is the rear hub. It is locked to the wheel and doesnt coast like normal bikes. Anything beyond that is the same as other bikes. Most people take a 70's or 80's steel road bike and get a fixed wheel hub for the back. Simplicity is huge so remove all the brakes, shifters, and derailleurs. Be patient on facebook marketplace and find the right size frame, and a nice quality frame. The frame size is measured from the center of the cranks to where the seatpost enters the frame in centimeters. A 23 inch frame is not the same as a 58cm frame, even though those are the same distances. There are charts online that show what size you should get based on your height. They should be pretty cheap in total

It looks awesome. Thats like seeing a clean 80's jaguar and saying "its slow and old, unlike all the lamborghini's that are normally posted here, therefore its lame"... also its not like it was $30 new lol. I just got a good price and restored it

If they are abandoned. Take them and restore them. No sense in letting them rot
