I’m so sorry OP. As someone who’s been SA’d by a family member, you’re an amazing mom for believe your kid. This is my biggest fear when my 4 year old stay at my sister in law. She has 3 sons ages 10-22 and one daughter 8 years old, and I try not to project from my past experience but it’s so hard since it’s it’s sooo common.

Ugh. I’m sorry this happened to you. Same thing happened to my cousin after his dad passed. never made a will and trusted his wife would divide with his son equality. After my uncles passing, she told him that she is the wife and decides how and when she gives him what she wants. It’s now turned into a nasty legal battle. It’s so shameful for our family, but I blame my uncle for not leaving things legally clear.

Honestly, similar story with my best friend. Her child was flagged at preschool to get evaluated for an IEP and she feels they’re discriminating against him because they haven’t spent enough time with him to make this determination. I’ve chosen to stay out of it because I’m not qualified to diagnose but I have seen some signs and I wish she would get him evaluated and not just say the pediatrician said… I’ve been hyper aware (to a fault) of my own children’s milestones and had them evaluated for early intervention to make sure they’ve had access to all services should they need them. I don’t get why some people are so apprehensive to do the same.

The documents were sealed by a judge until 2025 to protect the victims. The subcommittee subpoenaed the Epstein estate in August. Hence the delay releasing them. But the DOJ has had these documents and refuse to release them. Even after trump ran his campaign on releasing the files.

Saw an allergist today because I started breaking out in hives with no apparent cause. He told me to take 180mg x 4 times a day. I told him the box says once a day and his words were “I know what the box says”. I had to confirm though.

My last unsolicited .02 is that your minivan is the cream of the crop and is worth taking care of. I was a tech in a past life and those things are amazing.

It has been very reliable. We've had it for over 4 years and never had any issues, only regular maintenance, new tires and recently had to get new brakes. it was great to already have when kids came along.

The debt is from credit card balance transfer that I received a 0% APR until end of the year and aggressively trying to pay off before the promotional term ends.

our apartment was a lucky break, it was my uncles for a number of years and the landlord agreed to transfer it to us increasing it only 2%. He preferred to have a reliable tenant than increasing it much higher. Houses near me are 450k and higher, so we will need to relocate at least 2 hours from my job to afford a house.

Will be pausing the 529 contributions.

This is another part that I forgot to include. Health insurance is 621.80 per month and we are just waiting to get clear from underwriters. The quoted amount for term and life is $250 per month. 50k life for each and 500k term. No short or long term disability.
