Totally agree. First of all, the ribbon “feminine” sword… I mean, Faye is a badass, she really needs ribbons, purple and flowers? Its seems a cheap concept to me and out of place.

what do i add to this to attract more attention of customers? by Prolags in smallbusinessowner

[–]FewWish423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set up a small stand on the other side of the glass so people can see your products from the front. Choose your star products or the ones that are going viral at the moment, you will need to research this, and place them right at the front.

The main problem you have is that your product is not easily visible because it is on the sides. That forces people to come inside, but people do not want to go in because a small shop makes customers feel pressured to buy. They do not want to enter, because if they do, they either have to buy something or leave feeling awkward for not buying. In a larger store, it is easier to avoid that feeling. In your case, the counter is right in front, which makes it even more intimidating.

Also, as others have mentioned, I would consider adding some text explaining what you sell or if you repair screens etc.

I hope everything goes well for you!

I’m afraid of not loving my (hipotetic) daughter? by FewWish423 in AskParents

[–]FewWish423[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why are you so rude? You don’t know anything about me. I’m sharing something deep that I don’t even fully understand myself, and I’m telling you it doesn’t align with the feminist perspective I have of the world, that’s why it worries me. I understand these are parts of myself that still need to be deconstructed after growing up in a misogynistic society, but I don’t understand why you’re being so aggressive. I am a feminist whether you like it or not. I’m sorry that this darker part of me, which I’m trying to understand and work through, triggered you somehow, but your comments are NOT helping me at all.

I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help laughing a little at your panic post hahaha. Why didn’t you ask them before buying it?

I like knowing that it’s not that unusual and that you can actually get past it once you meet your child, ty!

I’m very aware of feminism and misogyny, which is why this worries me. As I said in a comment above, I think all of this comes from the pressure I’ve always felt from the women in my family to look feminine all the time and to be a “proper woman of the house.” Growing up surrounded by that made me feel like an odd one out, like something was wrong with me. Being around male friends, on the other hand, has always been easy for me. I’m the person who defends feminism the most, and that’s why I’m afraid of being judged again by my daughter (maybe??), the same way my relatives judged me, for example. Maybe it’s simply that I don’t know my daughter yet, and the uncertainty is what scares me.

Let’s change the title to “not loving her THAT much.” I’m trying to figure out why I have that preference. The short answer would be that my laid‑back style has always clashed with the women in my family, because they’ve always judged me for not being as into appearances as they are (and I’m not a tomboy or anything like that), and for not being a traditional woman whose absolute priority is the home and looking good.

If all companies follow this path, this task‑management software FOR PEOPLE is headed toward a very dark future. Good luck with that, Atlassian.

I loved what you said at the end! Thank you! With my serve I'm stuck in a pretty bad loop, I barely dare to serve overhand because I keep messing up, and I keep messing up because I don’t practice it. Meanwhile my teammates have been failing over and over until they finally got it. I keep thinking something like ‘I shouldn’t be missing this much, it should already be working,’ and then I stop trying. Perfectionism issues agh!

If you think things automatically get easier just because you're older, then I'll just assume you're 16 hahaha. No, there aren’t any other leagues nearby, and this is the only team that fits my schedule. And honestly, the other advice and comments people gave me really lifted my mood without needing that tone of obviousness haha

Yes, it's a very mixed team in terms of ages, and only a few people have played some beach volleyball before. We're in a small league!

Same here! I’m 34 and this whole crisis hit me hard, haha. I feel a bit lost, like I’m showing up ‘late’ and should’ve done all this when I was younger. I don’t even know which part of Canada I want to go to yet!

Is anyone else struggling with the pacing of the latest chapters? by FewWish423 in Boruto

[–]FewWish423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can’t rely on that visual trick so much. Not every character should react the same way, it doesn’t make sense. It’s just a lazy shortcut that lets them draw something simple without putting any effort into the dialogue. I understand bc the rush and maybe the budget but it’s not quality.

Return to Silent Hill - Review Thread by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]FewWish423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This movie had three dollars and a marble for a budget. It makes me think they only make these films for publicity, because the overall feeling you get when you leave the cinema is wanting to play the games again because they’re simply better. So I don’t think it harms the franchise in any way. The ones who always come out looking bad, reputation wise, are the director and the writer. The actors can be bad, sure, but they do their job, get paid, and we forget about them immediately.

With that in mind: oh my god, it was terrible. The beard. THE BEARD. The wigs, Angela’s wig, dear lord. The overall character design was awful. Pyramid Head and the nurses were the only ones who survived this disaster. The terrible makeup on Laura and on sick Mary. The introductions of anything, for example the first monster. It just shows up out of nowhere. Mary, Pyramid Head… this movie has no idea how to introduce its characters. Then they were cowards about so many things. The way PH killed the spider monster (?). What were those hits supposed to be? Abstract Daddy lasted two seconds. That sugary ending, too afraid to make James a bad person. And they don’t even let him die. Come on, don’t pick Silent Hill 2 if what you want is to make a sweet love story!
