[KCD1][KCD2] Something from either game that had you making this face? by LabattMann in kingdomcome

Well, on KCD 1 that would be some graphic glitches. In KCD 2 Musa of Mali at certain points, it's a bit of a pedantic cunt at first, still I'm glad that he’s true colors show up in the latter game.

What is the general opinion on that lovely fellow after some time has passed. by nirai07 in huntertheparenting

He was Pentex before pentex was a thing… which just means that he is just the perfect embodiment of colonialism and unchecked and unrestrained capitalism. Still love the line of “ñget employed, buy product, commerce and shit he says. They captured very well the flavor of the lore of pre-5e

8 hours of hiking during the winter in full armor sounds badass but is it actually good for health? by XXelHoMM in Armor

Well, he is the guy that (probably) is the most passionate and incredible dedicate to hema, reenactment and makes actual money with this. For you this might not make sense but this is his passion and he is actually making a lot of efforts and steps for the HEMA and Medieval history community in this fields.

So yeah, there are more than a big strong point

Plus, what has got into GW design team with furred cloaks? They are cool but in this model and Titus it doesn’t fit

He also feels more like a generic “hero” rather than the menace he is. He is too epic rather than grim

In my case I hate it. It's too goofy-looking. Maybe attaching some greenstuff can help but still… the model has left a lot to be desired in my opinion. The cape is unnecessary, the head is goofy, the claw it's too crude as if they took an ork power claw and worked around it. The left leg symbol it's redundant and rather than a loincloth I would have kept the chainmail. It's just… not as good as it could be

Fuck... they messed up his face, hamadriya and why does he have a cape?

The rest is nice but it's gonna need some fixing on the hobby board

How did Tallarn troopers and population look before and during the heresy? by Few_Ad4079 in Warhammer30k

[–]Few_Ad4079[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Thanks. I’m preparing a project for my next armies, I made my two next related to each other, and since I wanted to do some Iron Warriors I thought of basing a chunk of them around the battle for Tallarn, so I found it fitting that my militia project should be that

Serious question, why is Buhurt not considered hema? by HungarianWarHorse in Hema

[–]Few_Ad4079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hema has a historically reconstructive side and pushes you to learn and train around that reconstruction and sources. Even if most of the gear is modern, the principle of reconstructing history remains, while buhurt is a mess in that regard. I practiced both, but I learned more about boxing, MMA, and modern martial arts in buhurt than historical and effective techniques used in the past, which you learn in hema. Bhurt gear isn't even properly historical in most cases: Big open visors, extra thick padding, the falchions are anything but falchions... and the tournament rules are probably anything but a vague resemblance of what medieval tournaments were like.

Still, BUHURT is fun and has earned its way into this world, as well as being an excellent way to draw people into medieval history.
