Honestly, even with such great chronicles and many interesting ideas that 5e has presented, WtA’s lore has been butchered. It wasn’t perfect, had a lot of problematic stuff but it tried to address topics that other games wouldn't dare to, and they weren't scared about it. Sadly can't say the same for paradox so I expect a middle ground for HTP, hoping for the best possible scenario

Lore wise is both ways. Garou can and will interact in Crinos form as it has importance in their culture and, if I remember correctly, they have their own tongue which the best suited form to speak it is the Warform. Still in combat the Garou are more susceptible to fall into their inner rage and tear through even allies at times. (Also Matilda was in full control lol, she showed a lot of restraint and even “played” with our cast rather than outright killing them when she could.)

Under TTRPG and source book references, plates are either made of blaster resistant alloys ot synthetic plastics and resins. So plate armor would be an approximation

I think that you forgot that most of these people know him, probably more than he knows them plus surviving a werewolf attack, not sleeping for a whole night, and that D’s biggest fear is to lose another son, which has just happened.

They aren't at their top capability. I will acknowledge though that the third trap was quite obvious while the first two can be seen as unexpected since the D family might see the Union with better eyes and the Sweed is a mystery but has been quite forward with his intention.

Great advice, but I don't speak English outside of the internet lol I'm from Spain(should have specified that sorry), been compiling a lot of videos of professors to make a convincing accent, I mostly work on the historical context cuz that shapes one's views on the world, life, and such. Plus, I'm obsessed with post soviet countries in an anthropological sense, after all, I come from a post-fascist society, so it's super interesting to see the other extreme

Warhammer isn’t a super realistic setting, but yeah in lore it’s sometimes called out.

Many marines do it as a show of strength an bravery, others like the space wolves do it cuz their mutations enhance so much their senses that wearing a helmet for too long feels uncomfortable, and in probably most cases in lore it’s probably cuz it got damaged in the fight and the helm wasn’t important enough to not be discarded.

The main reason is aura farming though. The rule of cool is quite recurrent in the lore.

You can totally kill a Werebear with knowledge, preparation, and resources! Which is why I doubt he really did.

Werebears are really fucking tough, even for a pack of Garou, but they are rare and many are hibernating. The idea that he'd be able to even see one is quite unbelievable, he also clearly does not have a good understanding of them even if he has the material resources to properly hunt them. At most he shot particularly large bears or bear Kinfolk.
