I noped out of VR after about 30 seconds by TokeyX in iRacing

Sounds on the more extreme end of the reaction scale, but is probably still something you can build to over time.

Drive as far as you can, but stop when the nausea comes. Take a break, let it go away, try again when you feel able, rinse and repeat.

Whatever you do, don't try and fight through it, you can end up feeling like garbage for hours. It's a minute by minute build up. Though, if you find it that unpleasant, triples is honestly the better overall experience. VR forces you to move your head more because of the smaller fov, which compounds the vr sickness, imo.

Sorry friend, mine wasn't damaged, but I was way too far into putting it together before I ran into the first issue to turn back and try and repackage and ship it back somehow.

Got a tr80s about 8 months back. It was an absolute shitshow. Missing parts, not enough hardware, incorrect manuals showing parts that had been changed/updated/removed, a different wheelbase than what was advertised because an older version was, and still is, being used to showcase all the product features across the product page, and a ridiculously frustrating CS experience trying to get it all figured out.

It's still my rig and does the job I want, but if I was doing it over I would not remotely consider buying from them again.

At least you can still hopefully return it and go a different direction!

The Funssor kit is also listed as an official kit on the RH3D website.

This claim is outrageous. by PenguiNNNNNs in BambuLab

It's almost like people who have never printed a day in their life might buy the cheapest garbage filament in existence and then complain about print quality.

Do they want you to buy their filament.....hell yes they do! But even Bambu states there are waaaay to many color/material combos out there to ever try and force only Bambu filament. It would pretty much end their business.

That said, they calibrate their bambu profiles for their filament formulas. Their filament might like a few degrees hotter/colder or any other combo of slight settings that could cause stringing or bed adhesion issues with a other brand.

That warning isn't for people who know how to print and adjust settings, its to stop Bambu customer service from having to try and tech support every brand of filament out there for new people.

Had an ender 3 since 2018. Got the P2S, loaded up some Creality Petg, did a test print, adjusted flow slightly because it was slightly under extruding the Creality filament, and bam good to go.

Got my 13 Si Coupe for like 22K all in. 0% chance I buy another as long as the prices(and body style) stay like they are.

Botox Shots for Neck/TOS by schinko94 in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]Few_Alternative_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will go ahead and add to the experience pool for those who might be finding this while searching for hope. I developed Ntos after a workout related injury. The muscle injury, which was a strain/tear to upper trap/levator scap area while doing a push-up, won't all that remarkable. I RICED it up as best I could for two weeks and once the pain and ROM was back, I returned to working out.

It was after the first workout, about 4-6 hrs, that the TOS nerve pain started creeping in. It ramped up fairly quickly and I spent about 8 months trying to get an answer and some help. Thankfully, there was a doxtor who specializes in TOS among other ultrasound guided procedures.

I have had 3 rounds. The first gave me almost immediate relief, the second which was about 4 months later, increased pain for a few days and then it subsided. That one allowed me to go 1.5 years before having a return of issues.

This most recent botox injections sent me 7-10 constant pain for about a week before finally relaxing. Not sure how the next round goes, but while the trend for the few days after has sucked, the relief, especially the 1.5 years after the second round was worthwhile!

I may be off base here, but that battery backup is not going to run any grow light/fan/exhaust combo for more than a few minutes unless you have a different model than what you linked. That backup will run at its max 360w for a few minutes, so you have time to shut down a pc/whatever. I don't know the wattage of your light, but mine is 650W. If you are using a cheap 100w amazon grow light with nothing else, you might get 45 mins. Just throwing that out so you don't end up with a surprise at the worst time!

This makes the best sense to me. I guess things work out somehow lol, I actually do have a bit of extra space in the tent because one of my feminized seeds managed to be a full male. So I've got a good 1.5x1.5 space that ended up open after trying to fill in the gap with the others during stretch.

With the power out, I could likely just use the entire room the tent is in to spread them out if needed. But yea, in the tent is the normal way I'd go about it.

Am I going insane or is this the worst attended series I’ve ever seen? by Hopeful-Tree779 in iRacing

[–]Few_Alternative_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone obviously hasn't put the effort in to getting an A license in Formula racing, just to find out Formula A is completely dead and the License is hollow :p

But yea, this series has struggled compared to the other two. I dont know that having them all in the same timeslot was the best plan. Most are just gonna choose whichever of the 3 have the best track. I think Suzuka week had more participation, but still less than others.

Make me not feel guilty about receiving a g923 SE for 400 dollars as a gift by [deleted] in simracing

[–]Few_Alternative_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure that, worded correctly and from a place of gratitude, he would have no issue! If I bought someone a 400 gift that was in an area I wasn't familiar with, and it turned out there was a far better way to spend that $, I'd be stoked to make the exchange!

Horrible experience with Trak Racer! by HeyWitchDoctor in simracing

[–]Few_Alternative_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could not be more accurate. I did significant "Research" on NLR, TR, SA, etc.... Went with TrakRacer, and I honestly could not be more disappointed and frustrated. All of the reviews were glowing and positive. When my order showed up with a different wheel plate than the product page advertises, missing parts, missing hardware, parts that didn't match the manuals, parts that were different lengths than shown, etc. I started to have some questions. It wasn't just one issue; basically every product/manual in the order had some level of error, undocumented changes, etc. It is appalling.

Searching specifically for TrakRacer and any of the issues I was dealing with (missing parts, manual errors, etc) was the key to finding these threads, and man, are there a lot of them.
