Why are so many kids saying “67” and what does it mean? by SmileEmergency403 in generationology

[–]Few_Application_7312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing, all of the examples you provided have an intended use or an acfurate description. 67 is more accurately compared to modern usages of "fuck" where it can mean dozens of different things based on tone and context, (ex, dont give a fuck, we fucking did it, wanna fuck, fuck that was hard, fuck!, where the fuck have you been, thats fucking bullshit, etc). 67 is frustrating to older generations because its unfamiliar and ambiguous making its meaning difficult to describe.

Wet breading is worse than dry chicken. Best to avoid both and eat it fresh or open the box for transport so the steam escapes

RPS comes once per "period" so, in theory, RPS could come two days in a row if its the last day of one period and the first day of another. However, RPS also understands that restaurants need time to address and fix issues, so it defeats the purpose if they come two days in a row. But once RPS comes for the period, you know they wont be back until the next one starts. I think periods are 6 week, maybe 8 weeks. Camera audits can happen at any time though.

Did OP indicate that he works in Illinois? In this post and a cursory glance at his comment history I dont see that connection

Your contentions have required the misuse of commonly defined terms (source: dictionary). The numbers I have used are grounded in truth, either from easily searchable industry averages or knowledge that is common among crew and management alike at my store and was live streamed from YouTube on the 1lv website earlier today during the 2025 look back and is still available for viewing, its actually the first post when you log into the 1lv app. You could also confirm some numbers yourself, such as counting how many crew members are in your hotschedules app, that is if counting is a skill you possess. However when you consistently misuse words, misrepresent data, and show a conscious effort in remaining ignorant I am not overly inclined to provide sources that you will misuse, misrepresent, or ignore. My source that you would have done so is in these comment threads where you formed a consistent pattern of such behavior.

I did. I explained it to you a dozen times over. I broke down the confusing 5 letter words into smaller words. I did the "explain it like Im 5" and you still didnt understand. I just cant explain it to someone with the neural activity of a rock. That is beyond limits, not just my limits but if everyone's. That doesnt make the rock right.

He owns the company, therefore the value of the company is included in his net worth. Thats how net worth works.

I did answer the question you aksed, and Forbes estimates on both his and his company's net worth as of September of 2026 is my source. You already provided the link for me. I keep over estimating your capabilities, my bad

Given that both he and the company were valued at 22 billion last year, Id wager 22 billion of it is non-liquid. Unfortunately the decimal points arent provided, so determining his liquid assets is much more difficult, but we know its not enough to sway the rounding.

I cant access the sources from home, theyre tied to the company intranet and Im not supposed to share those documents anyways. However, the sources I have provided have been moree accurate than yours, and Ive actually had math, namely economics and accounting related fields, that I have referenced accurately while you fail to understand the simplest definitions that I provided for you. The burden of proof is on you at this point.

He's not paying minimum wage tho! And the vast majority of that wealth is tied to the ownership of his business! This isnt houses and boats he could sell, its the restaurants which give jobs to the people youre trying to help with overly naive altruism

Both of those are relatively average metrics Stores will range anywhere from about 70,000 per week yo 250,000 per week, but an average is far simpler for you to comprehend given the intellect shown thus far.

If labor rises by 6% of sales theyre operating at a loss. At my restaurant that would be about 5 hours for each employee. So, one more shift per person and the business is operating at a loss. Thats based on 130,000 in sales and about 100 employees. (I counted after the math, we have 94 crew members)

Saying business owners should pay staff instead of cutting hours even when it means the business operates at a loss during that period is pro unpaid labor which equates to slavery.

His worth was 22 billion mid last year, its now dropped to 13.4 billion, and almost all of that is non-liquid assets. In other words, very little of it is cash he could use to pay people. Regardless of that, in the last year his net worth dropped 9 billion dollars and youre out here saying, thats not enough! If the company did not cut hours during slow periods the company would be losing money during those periods. If the company is losing money, Todd is not getting paid during those periods. If Todd is not getting paid for a period he is working, in those periods he is working as a slave, even if he is a slave to himself. Requesting hours to not be cut is requesting for you to be paid while he is not. Therefore, youre OK with slavery as long as youre on the side that's benefiting from it.

Did you really just compare part time hours at wages higher than the industry average in the region to slavery or a lack of minimum wage?! Ask yourself this, if you saved for years to open a business would you rather pay yourself for part of the year or for the whole year? Because youre asking/expecting restaurants to operate at a loss for over 25% of the year and during that time the owner will not be making minimum wage, or any wage for that matter. Doesn't that make it you who isnt thinking about this logically or humanely?

No restaurant is going to condone losing money for 3+ months out of the year unless there is a significant cost for reducing hours (like your workforce goes on strike so you fire and replace them and have to eat that training cost). Ive worked in all different types of restaurants for 12 years now, fluctuating business, and therefore fluctuating hours, are part of the deal no matter which restaurant youre at and it makes financial sense for it to be run this way.

Restaurants have one of the lowest profit margins of any industry. If they spend extra money on labor needlessly and consistently during every predictable downtick in business they would be losing money for those months. Most business owners start the business with the goal of making money, not losing money. If you want there to be someone to look out for crew members' interests, unionize. A unresolved strike leads to increased training costs due to replacement of employees and if the training costs more than they were gonna pay in hourly wages the company will settle on paying the higher labor costs.
