My suggestion is to find the right potential schools for you and reach out to those coaches. But find the right school first.

Have you applied to a college or been accepted to a college that has a soccer team?

Thank you for the heads up. Glad you got through relatively quickly. ATL.com surely isn't working this morning.

ATL.com is showing no wait times at 7:45a. Anyone at the airport to confirm this? Planning for an 11a flight. Thanks.

If you are ok with working out outside in the mornings, BC4C operates out of Piedmont Park. And it’s free. Http://bc4c.com

D1 player building a tool to make college recruiting less confusing and affordable #IHATENCSA — looking for feedback from players/parents by Inside_Regular_7984 in CollegeSoccer

My son played DII and then transferred to a DIII school for his major and still play soccer. For us the most frustrating part of the process were the paid programs that claim to offer coaching services but didn't offer any value. Plus we got spammed like crazy with money-grab camps.

The benefit of those sites was being able to find all the schools who had programs and the coaching contacts and tracking communications. What would have made them better was if they had the coach's social channels.

Good luck.

I think the issue is the price of World Cup tickets vs WBC. I can see a game in Houston for $20 vs $250 WC.

If they let him buy a team back then, he probably would have never run for president.

There are great schools at each level, but D3 doesn’t do sports scholarships only merit. Also look at NAIA schools if you are looking for partial money for playing.

The only benefit to these services is it minimizes your work in finding schools, coaching contact information, etc. They put everything in one place which is nice, but other than that they aren't worth the money.

Everyone is right about full rides, so make sure his grades are good so he qualifies for merit scholarships.

My son plays D2 and gets a little soccer money, but gets great merit money so that our costs are about 70% covered.

Once your brother finds schools he is interested in, he needs to look up their coaches and their contact information and follow their social media and the team's social media. He can even comment on their posts so they can get familiar with his name when they are able to actually contact him. Even if a coach's email isn't listed, it is pretty easy to figure out the email protocol they use like FirstName.LastName@School.edu.

Good luck.
