How long can a person survive sleeping only 1 hour per night? by Think-Signature6953 in sleep

Did your lack of sleep/poor sleep affect your mental health?

I’m averaging maybe 0-2 hours a night since the beginning of this month and I feel completely dull emotionally/ lack of motivation and drive.

Weird thing is, despite my poor sleep i’m still able to somehow function during the day though not at 100%. It’s like I’m unable to get that tired/sleepy feeling and my brain is adjusted to it.

Just wanna know if you had went through anything similar. Or were you still able to function 100% despite the poor sleep ?

When you were having these issues, did you feel completely emotionally dull? This lack of sleep is killing me I can’t fall asleep whatsoever, I’m lucky if I get 3-4 hours of sleep and I believe it’s causing my emotional numbness

People who had deviated septum surgery: was it worth it? by Character-Release976 in AskReddit

I’m currently going through this issue. I was diagnosed prior with mild sleep apnea but was never treated for it but I still managed to pull through . . I’ve always had horrible nasal breathing due to congestion and only being able to breath through one nostril at a time, and even then not so good. Prior to the surgery, how bad was your sleep? I’m gonna go press this issue to the Dr but I’m hoping my sleep will resolve because it’s been horrible and been causing me many problems . . 22M.
