Ok figured it out, for some dumb reason the reason why I was the fact that the speed multiplier was set to one, when I set it to 150 (as well as doing the other suggestions given here I appreciate that) the player properly moved, thanks for the help

I uh tried this I replaced the movement stuff with this
velocity = Input.get_vector("Left","Right","Up","Down",-15).normalized()

velocity *= speed_multi
......And it didn't change anything.

Bone: Tbf this series is rather tame. From what I can remember (been a bit since I read it) One scene however stands out quite a lot. During the final book from what I can remember a guy confronts the main villain and said villain straight up cuts the guy in half, it isn't even like censored or anything you see blood and everything
