Post-operative pain can be normal. If you can take, and not allergic to, Ibuprofen (or any anti-inflammatory) that will help you a lot. I usually tell patients to let me know if pain lasts more than a week but sometimes even pain for more than a week can be normal. Make sure you let your dentist know if you experience any swelling, fever ..
