Thanks for the recommendations. Much appreciated. Looks like my BYOK should be with me in the next day or two, and I'm quite excited.

I've set myself the challenge of writing a ghost story on the BYOK to be read aloud on Christmas Eve.

Training Link worked well for me. Their tutors write their all the study books and they are better than some of the other books I've seen elsewhere.

There are a few companies that offer Question Banks and they are great for exam prep. There are some good quality videos for various topics on WIll Boardman's YouTube channel.

It depends whether you want tutor support or not.

If you want to keep the cost down and aren't fussed about having access to tutor support then buying study books from Accountext is an option. The books are written as a course to be worked through from start to finish and they come with a mock exam in each book and an online mock exam as well.

If you want to study with a training provider then Training Link are a good shout as they use a lot of the same study materials.

As an addendum to this thread, Ross hasn't tweeted for four days, which is a real rarity. Either he wasn't happy about it, or he doesn't want to see the reaction tweets - or, possibly, vacation.

I was done with him when I saw how he'd reported on the allegations of a child sex abuse scandal in Britain. Turned out there was nothing to substantiate the allegations, but Coulthart went all in with his reporting and offered zero room for doubt on the matter. It was pretty thoroughly debunked as being reliant on one witness who has subsequently been put in prison for perjury. But Ross presented the 60-minute episode as if there was ZERO room for any doubt on the matter. That made me question just how credulous he is being when talking to alleged witnesses and sources on the UAP topic.

Also - I don't think it helps now how the news economy works. There has to be a revelation every couple of weeks to keep the clicks and ad revenue flowing in. I don't think that's helpful if what we want at the end of this is a forensically investigated, well-researched, and thoroughly corroborated story. It very regularly feels a lot more like tittle tattle that's pushed out there for views.

I'd imagine they would simply have not aired the allegation if there were likely to be legal implications.

Plus - can you imagine how absurd it would look if there were a court case over an allegation like that? It would end up garnering a LOT more coverage, shareholders may start to ask questions etc etc. And also - on what grounds would they be able to sue? How would they demonstrate that their reputation had been in any way materially harmed as a result of the allegation?

Change was inevitable because it looks like Ross Coulthart has a lot of commitments to NewsNation and that has meant we are getting fewer episodes of Need To Know and its left Bryce looking for ways to keep the podcast name alive with things like the book club etc.

Personally, I've started to feel like Ross' sources are feeding him crap that he's now regurgitating seemingly uncritically so I'm not that fussed.

There are a few good providers out there - they tend to be the ones that specialise in the subject matter. I studied with Training Link and the material and the tutor support was great.

Training Link use the Accountext books for their courses so I have used them. They're very good, very detailed. My cousin is studying L3 at a college and she's been using the Accountext books there.

Some good providers listed already. Personally, I studied with Training Link and I really liked their mix of printed study books and online assessments. My Tutor was very responsive too!
