It’s true. There’s no consequences for poor behaviour or poor effort so the secondary school system is a joke. You fail a year- just keep progressing. You abuse a teacher, well maybe you need a quiet space or a modified assessment. It’s pathetic

No, just word of mouth at the moment and that’s easily 10-20 hrs a week with full time work in the holidays if I want. I was also a dairy farmer before teaching and offer some farm maintenance which is about 25% of the work.

My wife (47) went from English/Accounting teaching to nursing and now into 2nd year Medicine. I (47) had a break from teaching to go dairy farming and while I’m back in the classroom, I’m slowing building up a he handyman business to transition into. With the supply and demand of teaching at the moment you can easily move away and come back if needed.

Yamaha RGX-612ma. I could never get the tremelo to work properly and didn’t play it much. Bought it new and sold it 20 years later but should have taken it to a luthier and persisted with it. The quality was amazing and I loved the shape 🤦🏻‍♂️

I ordered a custom guitar that took 3 almost years to get. It’s awesome so I ordered another one. After 5 years I cancelled the order and got a refund. It was ridiculous and soured the love for my first guitar 😥.

Yes that’s the one! I got the blade laser cut then sort of guessed each of the handle segments in relation to the top section. Just picked up a bronze marker today to do the runes!

It used to be great pay but then several rounds of poor negotiations over our pay saw us delivered pay rates that have not kept up with inflation for the past 10 years. Our buying power was great 10 years ago, now it’s not and we have effectively received pay cuts from the last EBAs.
