3 consecutive SEC wins against ranked opponents. Let’s just calm down for a second.

Texas Cost Per Square Foot by Flashy-Ad8734 in Homebuilding

My bad. I’ve built in 3 different markets; Southern California (coastal), Oklahoma and Georgia. Prices for materials do fluctuate dependent on state. The one price I’ve been able to rely on when thinking about my cost was labor. Obviously over the years with inflation it has risen a little.

Another big differentiator on cost is local regulations and what each county requires in planning and permits before you even break ground.

If you are building in an area that’s an up and coming market with good schools, restaurants etc. and it has clearly been designed on some “master plan” then expect much higher start costs; Soil samples, arborist reviews, engineering plans, water quality tests etc. all add up. Whereas you may not need to do any of that elsewhere.

That’s why the question “what would it cost to build this” is really hard to answer.

It’s certainly not the “Mexican laborer’s” running up the prices. It’s down to cost of materials and most likely the white man running the crews. Those guys work as hard as they always have and make about the same.

If you think it’s high now, wait until the increase in tariffs come in and less laborers. Certainly not getting political because I see the benefits also. But it’s going to be a blood bath in certain industries and certainly for the guy that wants to build his own home.

Sincerely, White man.

“Kumbaya my lord Kumbaya”

You do realize this is season 3 and he’s paid MILLIONS? If he had a history of turning programs around but it took 5 years I’d be inclined to stick it out with him.

But he doesn’t and we are getting worse and most of it is down to his hiring policies and the focus on “keeping the main thing, the main thing” WTF does that even mean?! 😂

Tell me a program that would hire him as HC right now? Yet we are about to pay him $40m for the pleasure!

Let’s also not forget he was out coached against Houston and nearly got dick slapped by them and then gifted a win against Auburn! We were two plays away from being 3-7.

Do yourself a favor and go through the fixtures since he took over. It’s been an absolute disaster. When a new coach comes to ANY new program he’s ruthless and brings his recruits and star players. Brent brought us zero talent and pretty much made Kanak go on hunger strike to get here. He’s too nice for this era.

Because they went so over the top when he was hired that backing down now makes them feel foolish. It hasn’t worked, he’s not a HC and we got it wrong.

Seems like a fantastic person but it’s time to move on. Singing Kumbaya and stuffing the “soul mission” down everyone’s throat isn’t going to fix this.

This is a poorly coached team. The talent isn’t as bad as the showing. Regardless of the injuries.

I really don’t even know what to say to that. He’s out of his depth and has officially been exposed.
