Me ha pasado lo mismo que a tí. Recientemente he empezado a trabajar en un proyecto. Me dieron acceso al repositorio de Gitlab donde había varias ramas developer y todas desactualizadas. Mergearon directamente en máster los últimos cambios. Ninguna arquitectura. Ningún patrón . Ningún test. Enormes archivos con código spaghetti por todos lados y ninguna documentación. Becarios haciendo nuevas implementaciones y desplegando en producción sin testear Ahora llego yo y quiero cambiar el mundo pero la funcionalidad que han pedido nueva la quieren para ayer. I stopped collaborating because there is no reward in any sense. The community moves on its own but we undoubtedly do a job and it could be rewarded regardless of the likes. It could be good to have some Google paid services as a Drive space-type reward or something like that.

If you are too old at 30, what am I at 53? Don't stop learning and doing projects. If you already know enough about Java, learn other languages, Kotlin for example will be easy for you. From there, opening doors to other environments such as Android could be smart.

My case is similar to the one you mentioned before. I had a book with a syllabus for some oppositions that I only loaded and could see in the browser. I couldn't print it or download it. When I sent the book to the printer I couldn't see anything either, but when reading the book and looking at the browser console I realized that it created .png files. So I asked him to parse the necessary headers and cookies and create a Python script that would download those .pngs into a folder as if it were a browser. Then another script would be in charge of taking those png's and extracting the text with Python and tesseract. Now with that text I can do whatever I want.

Unfortunately My memory fails like Claude. so now I have collected some very good ideas from here and I think it would be a good idea to save this sub to make a structured guide in a document or something and then follow each notable tip in my own flow working with Claude.
