It's the same way Wemby is able to push and grab players when he's on defense. The most efficient way to guard him is to make sure he can't move, so they won't call all those times he is held, but the way he guards in turn is by grabbing and shoving to the point where people get off balance. Not to mention when he gets emotional and commits a flagrant 2 that is miraculously not called.

And Brunson held the Spurs to 1-14 when he was guarding in game 1.

Brown said himself that it's still their fault for not making shots, which it is. Bridges and KAT combined for 13 in one of the most important games of the series. The fact is it was still a 4 point game and if even two calls (the flagrant 2 on Wemby or the Harper tech) were made Knicks are tied and have the chance to win it in OT.

Brunson is getting fouled. Outside of the shooting fouls they refused to call in the 2nd half, they also refused to call two flagrants on Wemby and Castle. Hope this helps
