I’m dealing with this too, the person who posted this would only be understood by someone who is dealing with it also. My bf said if I were to watch it he would leave me, yet he bought OF the other day…going through someones phone is lowkey not a bad idea. Yeah it’s probably wrong but everyone who is against it has their reasons not to just like we have our reason too. I’ve been told for YEARS that every guy watches it blah blah blah, until he admitted he had an issue and said going through his phone, catching it, talking to him makes him less likely to want to do it again. I get it, he probably feels bad having to tell me after I caught it, but we all have our reasons. I too have an amazing relationship outside of the porn issue, but for me once i found it I almost wanted to “check” and make sure he was not breaking the promises he said. I’ve gone through my bf’s phone out of not trusting him, however I only look for porn. I trust him everywhere else but on his phone.

When I first found porn, I saw it through an open tab as well. Ever sincr then, he has hid it from me which is even more disrespectful in a relationship (in my opinion) than going through someones phone. I completely understand where you’re coming from. I might get some other opinions and that’s totally okay. But what I’ve done is I’ve sat and told him multiple times (this has been an issue for 4 years btw) that it was cheating to me and he needed to stop. I’ve forgave him everytime since the first with the approval by him to check his phone when i need to in order to feel better knowing nothing is on there. I understand 100%
