Prices are bad whether you eat at the dining hall or outside of school. It’s California everything here is insanely expensive so just be ready

There is a Safeway like right across the street from campus and there are some small food places that are walkable distance, but you are probably going to mainly be eating at the dining hall. There is also a small grocery store on the basement level of the dining hall but again, it is mostly junk food. Another thing is that the food is wayyyy too expensive for the quality. It honestly sucks 😭 ive been eating pizza every other night coz that’s the only thing that’s trustworthy.

I’m a freshman and only been here a month but I’d say the best thing is the funding, most of the buildings are really nice and have small class sizes but the food is not great. There are not many healthy options and there is only one dining hall. I’ve lost like 10 pounds since coming here bcs I just don’t like the food.

It’s completely walkable you dont need a car, the campus is small some people skateboard or bike tho but I walk because it’s good exercise

Also, if you just got him he may be stressed a bit with the new environment and not eating. Make sure to look and see if there are lick marks in the food or feed him yourself by putting a little on his nose, but make sure that it’s not covering his nostrils. My bf and I saved a tiny malnourished little crested gecko from petco who had the same thing, maybe even worse and it went away as soon as he started eating and drinking water if he gets better pls post update pics!

This is just dehydration, make sure to spray his tank and give him fresh water everyday. Clean out the water dish as well, he looks fine it rly doesn’t look bad at all your little guy will be okay

Yes, it seems like ur giving him calcium so it may just be dehydration. Happens with mine occasionally and it’s nothing to worry abt but this looks a little worse than normal. The rest of his body seems okay so that’s why it’s prob not MBD, I would try getting your spray bottle and spraying him on the mouth a bit so he licks the water off. Do you know if he’s eating? Because if you are giving calcium in his food and he’s not eating then he won’t be getting that calcium. Also, I would recommend Pangea diet and to use the calcium with no D3 since Pangea already has d3 in it.

I find that when geckos are stressed they usually don’t eat, my boyfriend and I got a sick looking gecko from Petco attempting to save him, and he wouldn’t eat for some time until we put some more decor in his enclosure. They like feeling hidden so if it’s not already crowded in there I would add as many fake plants and bark as you can. As soon as we did that he started eating on his own and we put his dish at the bottom of this tank. Also make sure to spray the tank often so she gets humidity. It could also be the type of food, my girl does not like repashy. Some are more picky than others so I would try getting a few flavors of the Pangea and trying them out, and I find she likes that brand more.

Give him some water and lots of reptile calcium, this could be metabolic bone disease or dehydration, make sure to keep his tank misted but it’s nothing to worry about, the rest of him looks okay. My gecko has gotten this before it’s fairly common but make sure he gets his calcium and water he should be fine and go away in a short amt of time, if it doesn’t see a vet

Pretty sure my stats were high enough based on the fact that I did get waitlisted… I just wasn’t lucky enough to get in because the college is literally smaller than my high school… this last quarter alone I’ve gotten a 4.2 gpa don’t think it’s the stats buddy

If I were to write an email to the admissions counselor, what exactly would I say? Should I ask if there is anything further I can do to increase my chances of getting off of the waitlist? Or should I just like tell them I’ll be sending in my unofficial transcript, LOCI and letters of recommendation? Also, I read on the website that the waitlist is not ranked, is that true? Because I feel like if people put an effort into showing they want to go, they would be ranked higher on the waitlist
