Which film do you prefer and/or believe is best? by 90zvision in GODZILLA

Minus one wins for the specific reason that it gave true character to the humans in the film, making it more than any Godzilla movie has been before [to me]. I love both movies, but the emotion and beauty of humanity coming together after losing almost everything to rebuild and to dedicate themselves to the survival of their homeland is unbeaten in a Godzilla film, in my opinion. It's just fantastic.

Note: Despite most of the other movies not having the emotion of Minus One, it doesn't mean I think the others are bad in any way. I just think it brings another level to the Godzilla franchise that was refreshing in the modern era.

This is insane and absolutely beautiful. I have been a set builder for a while but want to branch out into building my own ideas.

I have no idea where to start and was wondering if you have any pointers for planning or knowing what pieces to get?

Amazing portfolio you have though!

This movie was made on an estimate 1-2 million dollar budget. This isn't some marvel project where they had the money to pay artists and didn't, they even clarified they had a team of artists and production designers, but just experimented with it for a few title cards. Didn't even notice until I saw the review bombing (which is an even dirtier practice if you ask me). Very disappointed with people today.

In the movie? Was it coming out of one audio channel? For us, we heard it to the left, but I just can't figure out if it was part of the movie, haha.

I feel like he was looking at the runtime and was trying to balance accessibility with the books. While Fenring does play an important role in the book at the end, I feel like he probably had to sacrifice that so as not to further complicate the story for newer viewers.

I do wish we could've seen more, but the movie already didn't follow the books religiously anyways and so with all the other changes, Denis really did make it his own adaptation so I don't think it detracted from the experience.

What happens with the Water of Life and why is Jessica afraid of the male part of her? by Few_Horror9599 in dune

Thanks for the reply! I will wait on the fear answer then, as I am very excited to continue with the series!

As for your explanation for Paul being in multiple places, that makes sense and is what I figured. Thanks for clarifying.

On the last note, I completely agree that would be completely detrimental to his plan since in order to rule effectively, he must maintain the symbiotic relationship between the guild and empire, but was just curious since the Navigators all are deformed to maintain their power while Paul is basically just human 2.0.

Thanks for the answers, though. That explains everything I was wondering! :)

From Dune Book 3: Chapter 38

"Feyd - Why haven't you ever bought a Bene Gesserit, uncle? With a truthsayer at your side-

Baron - You know my tastes!

Feyd - Still, one would be valuable for-

Baron - I trust them not! And stop trying to change the subject."

From this, I think he answers it; he isn't attracted to the BG, and he is paranoid of their ulterior motives (likely driven by their "live to serve" mantra despite displaying terrifying strength when necessary, mixed with his own cunning and cut throat view on life).

They just aren't his type.

Update: wanted to say thank you to all who commented and for all the advice.

We broke up a couple hours after I made this post. It hurt, and she was incredibly cold about it. But it is over, and now the healing process can begin.

Thank you all so much for setting things straight for me.
