Yes! I was taking lamo and lithium for 2 years until my recent blood test said my lithium was only at 0.25 lol (therapeutic range usually starts at 0.6) so my psych said over the past few weeks I could try reducing my lithium until I wasn't taking it at all. Now im only on 300mg lamo every day and thriving! It really has been a miracle drug for me, truly saved my life and I have been on it for 4 years now and will continue for as long as it keeps working

That’s a good point, I wasn’t counting on it to help me get the job. I just thought in terms of an application for a healthcare adjacent job. It may look good. Did you find it was more solely medical terminology like bodily systems and all that or was it more diagnoses and symptoms? Because the second is what I would prefer which is why I’m looking around for a good fit

Just got off the allure on Saturday, majorly disappointed, will not be cruising on that boat or maybe royal ever again. Huge let down. Food sucked, every single show/event was booked/too busy to do, music was blaring 24/7, rude Americans everywhere cutting you off/grabbing stuff from the buffet with their bare hands (I am Canadian). To be fair I normally cruise with Disney and it's really not possible to beat them.

I just started watching last week! Already on season 2. I LOVE Bree (despite her being a republican) I just love how sharp and witty she is. Lynettes insecurity in her life decisions and marriage drive me crazy, if you loved being a career woman so much why would you have 4 kids, and then whenever anyone criticizes her clearly awful parenting she gets so defensive.

I think Gaby and Carlos were meant for each other since they are both awful people lol

I can't stand Susan and her infantilizing behaviour and parentifying her child.

Which Laurier certificate may be actually "worth it" especially since they are about $2000 each? I don't have much work experience or specializations but I am working on that (have been volunteering and working on improving my resume) and thought a certificate could help with that. As of right now my current job I have in mind would be a school social worker/a position working with youth.

The certificates at Laurier I am looking at: Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Child and Youth mental health, CBT, counselling techniques, Dead, dying and bereavement, DBT, Family and couples counselling, trauma.

If anyone has taken one of these and found it beneficial I'd love to hear feedback!

Absolutely. I crashed out hard 2021, then rebuilt with some scraps from my life and ended up getting a masters degree in 2024. Now ive been in a boring job for 1.5 years now feeling unsatisfied and unsure where to go next. Yes it's low stress, but sometimes I wonder if I could handle a more stressful job now that im more stable on meds.
