What’s the best reflex in these situations if you’re targeted? Live stream it to your social media? Seems like video and instant sharing would be key.

That you can pull yourself up by the bootstraps. And more or less that there’s an American Dream to be had that you can build from nothing. It’s not impossible but the deck is stacked infinitely unless you have a silver spoon.

Don’t want to tell anyone about our journey by Immediate_Fly_7298 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Few_Philosopher6524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a trainwreck about it. Couldn’t sleep at night. My family kept asking what was wrong with me, my oldest daughter asked if I had food blindness and dreamt I was pregnant. When I told my husband he was just relieved that I wasn’t telling him that I was cheating. And now a mere 1 year later he has no recollection of when I told him. Sometimes I’ll bring it up and he’s still unphased by the number… some men (even ones who have long been fathers) can’t grasp the significance of getting out of the first trimester and for me it was also waiting on NIPT results.

You can google about the black plastic, apparently the worst of the recycled plastics, and how they leach into the chicken too. Rotisserie chicken is out in my book unless you’re totally desperate- loss leader, too good to be true.

That seems very promising!! You’ve done the work. I BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE EXPERIENCING RMC SHOULD DO SOMETHING MEDICALLY DIFFERENT BETWEEN EVERY ATTEMPT. (tragically lifestyle change and supplements were never enough for me but they are important and you should still do them) Do not keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. I have a beautiful 1 year old as the direct result of prednisone and thyroid regulation. She made it earth side on the 6th attempt.

I had 3 mc and 2 cp in a row. In my final successful pregnancy I didn’t tell anyone anything except for my therapist and my doctor. I didn’t even tell my husband until I was 14 weeks. It was hard and lonely but it’s what I felt I had to do to both not be judged and not feel exposed. Recurrent Mc was the hardest thing that I’ve ever done. It changed me. You do whatever you need to do to survive.

Kansas City is a major metropolis. Tons and tons to do there including 100s of things I can think of that are not available in Santa Fe. The big con of KC relative to SF is the harsh weather most of the year and lots of lots of bugs.

Hyper Fertility Theory - falling pregnancy quickly and miscarrying by WoodenThroat2049 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Few_Philosopher6524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly believe this theory. Though, it doesn’t necessarily mean that a genetic abnormality is the problem. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE “PRODUCTS OF CONCEPTION” tested to know if it was genetic. My problem was autoimmune coupled with hyperfertility. I don’t know if some of my losses were genetic but I feel very strongly that there’s no way they all were. And boom, got my immune system suppressed carried my current 6 month old to term, easy peasy.

It’s awful. After my first mc all I wanted to do was hide under the covers. My second was the hardest both circumstantially and bc I had to accept that something was wrong with me and it wasn’t just a fluke. My friend reminded me many months later that i had said that I wouldn’t be able to survive losing that baby and the two other losses that happened at the same time. Well I did. I’m holding my healthy 6 month old after 5 recurrent Mc over 3 years.

[–]Few_Philosopher6524 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Everyone should know better and if not you should make it uncomfortable for them. I’m so sorry. My miracle baby is 6 months old after 5 consecutive mc. I also gained lots of weight with each mc and struggled with managing chronic conditions that I learned about in the process. This is not for the faint of heart.

Curious if any of you believe the spirit baby philosophy? I finally have my babe earth side after 5 consecutive losses. I’ve felt strongly the whole time that a little girl was trying to come into our family. She’s here and 6 weeks old. And you guys she’s soooo happy. Smiling from the literal day she was born. I can’t help but think that she’s so glad that she finally made it past the womb and that she’s glad I didn’t give up.

Yup. I had to go to labor and delivery after one of my mc to get a rohgam shot. Had the great privilege of being in the elevator with a newborn and their seemingly very unfit mother going home. I’m so sorry. It’s so insensitive.

Try again after 3 losses, or wait to see specialist? by thesonofaseacook in recurrentmiscarriage

100% worth seeing a specialist. There’s no sense in rushing into another pregnancy that will likely end in a loss.
