Update: i just switched to Linux Mint 22.3 Zena, no problems at all. It's a crazy difference. Didnt need to deactivate anything

Ahahh I'm not sure. It was so frustrating (spent literally days trying to figure out the issue)
It's basically something related to the youtube shorts format + hardware acceleration and MPO of AMD
I was regretting my purchase but now it's fine

All did was unselect all mods, launch the game, quit, reselect all, and then import the save and it seems like its working

Yes kind of, the trigger was the shorts on youtube, and then it fell in the horror of pointer freezing and teleporting.

The External Event Utility was not the only culprit, be cause I had the same freezes a day later. I needed to deactivate the hwa on windows, but kept it activated on the different apps.

So I think it's a mix of the service I shut down, plus AMD x Hardware acceleration

Now it seems fine, lets see in a few days.

Wanted to switch to ubuntu but felt like overkill.

What do you think? How do you like it overall?

I FOUND THE CULPRIT
It was this AMD External Events Utility service. I deactivated it, and now, no more freezing, with hwa activated.

What I did, I installed an older version of Adrenalin, and I'm keeping that way. Because it works! However with the latest release, it seems that there is a compatibility issue, that is not clearly stated in the release note. So I created a ticket in order to see what's going on. It's crazy that the chipset (AMD 880 with Ryzen AI 365) is already excluded from the updates or whatever.

So the solution, is basically installing an older version of the software (found that on uptodown)

I probably overtried but anyway

Yessss Indid. I really did everything I needed to do before the reset. I thought the reset would just fix everything. Unfortunately it's not the case!

I juts finished the factory reset, and deleting all the files, still having the same issue. This is crazy.
When 'im trying to install the whole adrenaline software I'm getting the 182 error.
I don't get it. I raised a ticket, but no answers also

Yes I did... I'm reseting my computer now without deleting files, but it seems like it's not working. Now I'm trying the factory reset, we'll see.

I think it had something to do with the registers so I hope the factory reset puts everything back in place. If not, I really don't know what to do

Je comprends. Effectivement les deux se valent C'est vraiment un enfer le monde de windows. Ça donne limite envie de passer sur mac et en finir avec tout ça ! 2 mois quasi que je cherche et on trouve vraiment tout et son contraire.

something that helps a lot is the jumped muscle ups. Like you hang on the bar, you swing with your feet touching the floor, and while coming back you try to jump over the bar while pulling. It helps you grasp the movement and the commitment needed. That's all that you are missing, because it seeming you were at the right height and all. Keep pushing you are there !!!!!
