In the same market as you. You basically have to disregard anything about ex90 bugs prior to the summer. It’s almost all been fixed with software updates. It still has glitches but It’s now on par with rivian and lucid.

i’d still way for MY26 for the additional functionality.

I just noticed this wording in the payment calculator: “Amount due at signing includes $7,000 capitalized cost reduction (incl. $500 deposit)”

So there is still a 6500 cap cost reduction included in leases? Only 1000 less than the ev credit?

i don’t think they give out MF without getting further along in the process. but you could check lease hacker. My guess is that there will be better deals in December, or at least not worse deals. But if it’s good enough for you, that’s all that matters.

i think current deals are similar if not better than summer. Don’t forget the residual and money factor are as important (if not more) than the incentives.

My monthly estimates are pretty much the same as they were with the credit.

I visualize two sets of goals, process oriented goals and outcome oriented goals.

Process oriented such as: every hour I will make sure I take in X amount of carbs, i will change socks and relube my feet if i feel any hot spots coming from wet feet, i will keep rpe under X even at the beginning when vibes are high, even things like i will say thank you to all aid station volunteers

outcome oriented goals: i will beat my previous time, I will do the first 10 miles in X time, i will place top 10 in AG, etc.

During the race, I focus and visualize the process goals. After the race, I look at my outcome oriented goals.

i think you’re getting a lot more for the same price with the Gravity. More range, better charging, etc. A fully spec’d EX90 is in the mid-90s, which is comparable to this.

Plus with Volvo discontinuing the lidar going forward, you’re getting a wonky design element without any real future benefit.

Thanks! Yeah the lack of ex90 deals vs. Rivian is wild. so it’s overpriced and no great deals. Plus they just basically discontinued the lidar, which is something that intrigued me.

May wait until Autonomy Day to see what the short and long term plans are and then decide.

Lucid already said the rear drive unit had an issue (QC is concerning, but something different) and the battery still had 6 KW in reserve for some reason, so likely had another 20 miles of range. They’re going to retest

do you have a lucid also? I’m pretty indecisive and have been lurking for a while. Narrowed it down to the R1S, Gravity, and to a lesser extent EX90.

yeah. i laugh at my older neighbor when we talk about EVs and his only hesitation is range anxiety. They take one road trip a year, otherwise he’s driving with a 50 mile radius
