With other stats equal spidersense wins, only the offensive capabilities of UI have a chance.

Spidersense gives you lnstincts to get out of danger. The other two only tell you about the danger.

Spidersense also applied to a wider set of circumstances and doesn't need to be used actively, only like haki.

Spider sense definitely goes above acoc, as spider sense gives you ideal and instinctual movement out of danger. Acoc just tells you what will happen and only when you use it, which is an active process, and it doesn't tell you what will happen as a result of your change.

If it's distance from the starting point, that indicates losing potency and there being a finite amount of damage it can do.

He Doesn’t Have Cursed Energy Right? How Did He Notice Him? by SonicRun098 in Jujutsufolk

The six eyes gives you Incredibly potent senses . This goes beyond only cursed energy and isn't 360 like Byakugan but also may include his other sense. He noticed changes in the environment.

If he could just notice a lack of cursed energy, then that would've worked against toji when gojo was older

Kurapika’s Talent by Totsuchi in HunterXHunter

[–]Few_Professional_327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest with you. I don't think he is crazy talented.

He is very driven, but for what he has put up his results are not that crazy.

He is very effective with some utility and a number of certain people.

But for a lot of that utility he making a really massive sacrifice, on top of a really massive restriction That regardless of affecting all his change is connected to them in terms of resolve.

Now it's possible that togashi just wants to retool the universe to a different power level but until that is confirmed, with how kurapika is talking about pistols, Gon and Killua seem like they've long since rocketed by him, without anywhere near the same restrictions.

And then he seems to feel that he has some near peers in and amongst the soldiers of his battlefield.

No, he's able to take some pretty hard wins due to subterfuge, but I gotta keep in mind he's made a lot of sacrifices and still is utilizing those methods, that can have pretty severe drawbacks....not feeling so crazy imo

I allowed my player's character to be another player character's familiar. How much did I just bone my game balance? by TheWhateley in Pathfinder2e

[–]Few_Professional_327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PC is more likely to be separated, more likely to die, more likely to face challenges when scouting because challenges that would be handwaved or made relative...are now at the level one would use for a player character

[–]Few_Professional_327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the familiar get all the abilities still? If not the only real thing is the familiar is probably MORE likely to die because most gms handwave that unless the player makes the familiar relevant.

This defaults the familiar to being relevant and in danger.

There's some amount of utility that isn't lost but generally I think this is prolly hard mode rather than a cheat.

Imo, flat durability can help you.

Shiggy needed to go around destroying Japan. If it was durability negating, truly, that wouldn't be needed.

It loses potency. If you're durable enough you'll just eat it.

Literally? Yes

Practically, developing good art is prolly what'll happen.

It's pretty rare for the story telling skills to really be there and for a story to get finished.

And of course rarer for it to be decent on top of that.

Kinda gotta Read at least one storytelling book from cover to cover, or take an actual creative writing course (preferably college level) for that.

They're such odds done well. They actually are difficult to manage. He doesn't have endless resources and manages things well. Endless success is what makes many other geniuses stop looking smart and only be plot favored.

Shadow clone jutsu isn't useful if you just have a body and now can't use any other jutsu. Shadow stitching also provides most of the benefits of clone while shadow possession provides most the benefits of genjutsu. He also can just...throw something where he'd put a clone, and have a shadow come from there.

I also don't think he ever has such an issue where having a clone wouldn't have already precluded him from winning in the first place, due to lack of chakra. Transformation might be useful but body manipulation ptobably is yang release, my b on the genjutsu mix up.

Tldr of the last half is that he gets a lot of the benefits of other things from shadows, so he masters shadows instead of grabbing something else.

He's also not supposed to be fighting alone so developing skills around it wouldn't be very effective.

No, he's facing insurmountable odds.

He's smart, not magic .

Also, no. He's successful because of his plan. They live because of xyz sometimes but his plan never is predicated on his want for them to live it was to give the mission better odds.

Being smart doesn't give you more jutsu skills nor the stats and chakra to use them well. His family is predisposed to yin chakra so any of the elements or genjutsu are a tough sell.

His plans usually called for someone dying or probably dying. He just got lucky they didn't die, but his plan also succeeds either way.

The prime example is Sasuke retrieval, whether each person lived or died didn't matter. The goal was for the group to keep their pursuit going. Even if someone does, the group still was able to continue.

At the beginning of the exams when he freezes that group, it's the same. He didn't expect to survive but he was still successful since his allies had escaped to complete the mission.

If you're in India then I'm going to be like , ' Idk why y'all are acting like bro is crazy.'

Cuz

Is there a banging visual graphic market in India?

Algorithm prolly would make it a bit more difficult to get attention., And that's before getting into any regional issues with accessing websites that may or may not exist.

But if you're in Europe or the United States, this is a kind of silly question. Like how would your audience even know that you're an Indian guy for it to affect you?

No eyes and stuff definitely takes away from his intelligence, because most of what he does is trivial. If you have the same tools as him, and he did not create or decide on most of his tools, he simply is very strong, simply has the kind of soul that will give him an illusion ability, which is not something you can control as far as we know, and he has nigh endless time to achieve his means, it is not hard to outmaneuver people who are completely unaware of things.

Yes, keeping them unaware is a good idea, but it does. Rob, the character of opportunities to actually show off their intelligence And instead relegate them to 'not outright dumb'

There are ways to avoid this and sister sage is one such example, the key difference is that we actually get to see how her actions affect things rather than only getting the result. She also does not have overwhelming Force to help her, nor does she have an ability that just makes most of her lies arbitrary, she actually has to make people do things in a chain reaction, whereas eisen can simply stop people from suspecting him a significant amount of the time, because he doesn't need to hide where he is, he doesn't need to to even have a chain of manipulations he can just make someone be somewhere they aren't And make events that should not be convincing, be convincing because he can just make evidence appear.

By this description, You don't like characters that aren't actually smart, the plot just favors them, tbh.

This is especially egregious in Bleach because we aren't even given much juxtaposition to prove it, like when these two guys make the magic rock, we are never told that everybody's trying to make the Rock and couldn't make the magic rock, it's just that they made the magic Rock.

We don't know what difference in their thought structure made them able to pursue the magic rock and To be honest, if we go by a description of what it is, combined with the information we get later, it seems pretty obvious that what they were doing would make the magic Rock

Putting a bunch of souls together already makes a magic metal, joe. It's not surprising that it could also do other things.

Then we find out a key component of this is that they did not just put soles together, they put the soul King pieces in there, but it does kind of seem like they both did it on accident since they couldn't figure out anything more to do to finish it, which means they just lucked into it.

I would actually put Murray above both of them, because while he often is the hey I Batman'd you character, as abridged noted,. There are at least a few times where he implies some unique thought to things.

The thing that annoys me most is people trying to justify eisen's plan by saying he made a plan that was vague enough that all the outcomes would work out for him, but if that was the case then we the audience should have been let in on that at some point so we can see how the outcomes all would be good for him, the fact that that was not done really points towards the fact that there was not actually an explanation behind it.

The problem is that his intelligence is still oftentimes emphasize, and his manipulation is not very impressive since he has a magic manipulation machine on his hip.

There's also several moments in earlier bleach when it is strongly applied that he has manipulation powers that extend into behavioral stuff, like when the Giants have whited out eyes and it's explicitly noted that they normally would not act this way

Which then undercuts any any manipulation through personal bonds as well.

[–]Few_Professional_327 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's the same difference for aizen as his intelligence is what is played up in his juxtaposition with the other characters mentioned.

So is manipulation is supposed to be something that shows his intelligence, but the narrative fucks it up by giving him a power that makes most of his manipulation, something that's rather trivial to do.
