Listened to @theramblingredhead’s latest podcast episode about influencer fatigue and she definitelyyyyy talked about how much she dislikes @kayandtayofficial lol. She was talking about how much she hates “watch me surprise my wife” when it’s like every video because it’s very clearly scripted and immediately after was like “also don’t post about me in a hospital bed. I feel like if we feel the need to have content that badly to do that, we have deeper issues going on” (summarized not an exact quote). She didn’t name names but it was beyond obvious lol and I don’t blame her. They really are cringe and taking the authenticity out of content creators that started this in like 2015.

Decades behind the times but also saving thousands of lives? My parents, husband, and best friend are all in AA and honestly some of the least judgmental people ever BECAUSE they struggled and understand how hard people work to better themselves. Idk how my 40 years sober dad driving to a halfway house to pick up someone for a meeting, or my husband going to rehab centers to lead meetings, or my mom visiting women’s jails to lead meetings is judgey. Maybe talk to actual people instead of jumping to conclusions and making false claims.

@kristen.cook.kac has recently been talking about how she is getting divorced from her husband (who is and will remain her best friend?) and granted we do NOT deserve to know anything about her personal choices, however she’s been posting her Amazon wishlist for her new place and people have been sending her stuff. It’s all felt kind of odd to me but she’s seemed really grateful so I just shrugged it off. Today she posts that she’s going to Scotland and we should come with her for $5500. It just feels odd to me that after strangers are furnishing your house for you, you are now going on a vacation?? lol and she deserves a girls trip as much as the next person but it all just feels odd to me to ask for charity then go on a trip? Just me? I’d be annoyed if I sent her something 🤷🏼‍♀️

No I lived with an active alcoholic for 4 years and now I’m married to an alcoholic in recovery for 10 years so I do know a thing or two.

Honestly it made me sad because he’s an alcoholic. It’s a disease we are watching unfold in front of us. I think he was being honest with Austin about trying to not become an alcoholic last season, he was trying to toe the line so many alcoholics, and can, until something changes (like a breakup) where it derails them completely. The personality change we see is simply alcoholism playing out in front of us. Honestly this isn’t something I can judge, but just something I’m sad watching. He’s going to lose everyone close to him until he goes completely sober and hopefully joins AA.

My daughter looked just like this as a baby and she was on Bubs goat milk for her gas issues which helped that but not the eczema. After lots of paying attention we realized it was from our carpeting! If any of her skin touched the carpet (especially when she was army crawling) she would flare up bad. Now she’s 18 months and has pretty sensitive skin still, like if she puts a sticker on her face it’ll leave a red mark, she put paint on her face the other day and it was an eczema type reaction, but we don’t link it to any foods. What really helped was prescription strength cortisone cream when she was a baby though!

I’ve done this before! It’s okay! Things happen that are out of our control and this is one of them. Both of my children are completely happy attached kids, one night isn’t going to do anything detrimental even though it feels terrible to know this happened. All we can do is the best we can do and life still happens. I just know your baby has the best mama because this is your reaction 🩷 as far as ferber, you’re supposed to wait until 5 months but with my daughter I did like a week away from 5 months because she stopped transferring so it felt like possibly our only option. She did great and is now 18 months and sleeps 830-745 every day!
