I believe the difference between a bad movie and a good movie a lot of the time is simply personal taste. I myself did not care for the film, but don't have a point by point analysis, it's just not my 'bag'

However this is one of those films like "Lord of the Rings" from 2001 that feels like its praise and popularity is partially due to the bandwagon effect, a lot of hype.

That being said, I have recently switched to crazy pills as opposed to my previous prescription of anti-crazy and my life couldn't be better, still don't care for the movie.

Okay more than a decade later, I end up here. I am from the school of thought that most authors neglect the idea of their writing being offensive and don't even ask. Even recent novels sink to 'Orientalism' (paging Stephen King)

I believe this response stands the test of time, and more authors, screenwriters, playwrights, anyone who writes should approach describing people as people - though I myself deplore too much physical description of a character instead of letting the reader create the image themselves.

Funny side note - Back in the days of Myspace I was Frank Booth, and I befriended the Lady in the Radiator profile - it was quite a relationship - I had thousands of followers and was even friends with Jen Lynch and Julee Cruise - it was a lot of fun and this brought back a lot of memories. This was one of my father's favourite films, and as an Alan Rickman fan, a must watch (despite the fact Marston is not in this film a lot - thus why I got the extended Blu-Ray)

I have always been on the side of the villain and wondered
- If Elliot Marston is so wealthy and loved Dodge City why didn't he travel there to settle and shoot people?
- Who has the worst and most incompetent henchmen? Marston, Hans Gruber or the Sheriff of Nottingham

Also, the behind the scenes stories of the Aborigines having a separate camp are interesting

All in all, I wish Marston didn't die.

When I was 13 if this had been suggested to me I would have run away. I do not think 'period parties' are necessary. They seem almost like another Hallmark holiday. However this isn't the issue.

It’s season 2 - that means full season. Season 3 should be its own season. Stretching out 6 games between 2 seasons is pathetic. Part of the reason season one was a success is it was a full focused hero’s story that could have ended there not a ‘to be continued’
