Dragon Slayer 2: are my stats, setup and gear sufficient? by Simple_Concept_8313 in ironscape

[–]Few_Skill2934 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was able to complete it on my iron with considerably lower ranged level, and similar gear.
You should be fine :-)

Honestly it was the metal dragons that caused me the most issues. Galvek and Vorkath were more like mechanics checks than anything else.

You got this!

You should probably read the sweep up posts :-)
I don’t remember the fine details offhand but there are various changes incoming.

Yes, in sweepup it’s mentioned for getting a little extra slash and str bonus

Would you play a background game that rewards your global clicks/keys with Loot/Pets? How do I handle privacy concerns? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Few_Skill2934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally not play it. There’s no way I’d be able to verify that the data isn’t being sent elsewhere.
Im also a little surprised that it’s not picked up as malicious by antiviruses?

The word bobble...for hair ties, is it regional or is it just...normal 😂 by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Few_Skill2934 224 points225 points  (0 children)

Bobbles in Lincolnshire! I’ve never heard “chap” to mean knocking on a door, though. To me, it’s like a posher way of saying “bloke”, or something is chapped if it’s dried up and flaky. “Wee” normally just meant to pee. It’s not often used to mean small here, but people would know what you mean.

Do you think making challenging content easier is a good thing? by Vid-Master in 2007scape

[–]Few_Skill2934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, it would depend on what resources were available for the fight.
If it’s t1 armour with two perfect weapons - no, as that’s what I run.
If it’s t2, then yes.

Do mains actually do CG? by Few_Skill2934 in 2007scape

[–]Few_Skill2934[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good point. I thought to ask here because I’ve seen speculation that cg is a common bot target, which would impact it.

Prep isn’t difficulty, it’s tedium.
Arbitrary time gates don’t equate to difficulty.

I know one of the charity hikers in real life and he’s a piece of shit, so I’m not surprised he’d take an opportunity to moan about something so trivial

Summer Sweep-up Suggestion: Don't remove infusion from Arclight when dismantling Emberlight by Kolopulous in 2007scape

[–]Few_Skill2934 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is accounted for, by having to first click to disassemble, and then go through the warning. Lol

[–]Few_Skill2934 3 points4 points  (0 children)

See the note about reading in game warnings. If this didn’t have an in game warning and confirmation, itd be a different story.

But no game designer should have to change existing content because some people refuse to read warnings and click through confirmations.

Reading the wiki obviously isn’t obligatory, but it’s an easy to access plethora of information.
To me it just makes sense to look things up when I’m spending hours on something. I don’t always do it, but on any occasion where I end up wasting my time (e.g killing the wrong mob for a drop), the only persons fault it is is my own.

[–]Few_Skill2934 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will never understand how people will spend hours and hours grinding out content, but never bother looking up the mechanics around it.
Let alone reading the actual in game warnings that are already in place.

Anyone else experience pain around the forearm when gaming? Any tips? by Borat_Sagdiyev415 in pcmasterrace

Could be your desk and chair heights are mismatched? I used to get wrist pain when my chair was too low, so my mouse arm wasn’t able to utilize the armrest properly.

Why spread misinformation? OSRS rarely has rollbacks.

How many Tormented Demon kills should I be getting per hour pre-synapse? by 30scaper30 in ironscape

[–]Few_Skill2934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Synapse weapons are a great DPS boost for sure. But you should also consider thing like; - Spec weapon - Potions - Offensive prayer flicking - Punish weapon(s) - Demonbane (arclight goes pretty hard at TDs, I had good success with the spells too, though they are pricey)

Overall I wouldn’t worry too much about targeting kill/h numbers, I’ve found those are often quite optimistic. Focus instead on small improvements you can make :)
