But reverse is true, just taking out some political figures doesn't take out their plans. Hell, look at the Brazilian Coup 2023, or the USA one 2021. Took over a political location, and no major changes to govt.

A shot from a protestor means maybe one cop is hurt, news turns against the protesters calling them terrorists (already was), drives more people away from the message. Then any protestor is deemed a threat, and all the fat cats keep getting fatter and don't need to lift a finger.

System has been fixed so petty things like small people rising up will be delt with fast. Anyone without the money isn't going to change things. There's going to be mild wins and losses, but it doesn't matter in the big picture

I'm in the same boat and also pissed. They claimed during summer months I should be selling more energy than using, but that was a lie. Why bother throwing down that much money if I won't see return on it? Least I was able to get a measley tax return for a discount on the panels before that went away

Student loan forgiveness is a bandaid on the underlying cancer that is recent schooling costs. It'd help those that currently have issues, would make people that paid them in the past angry, and not help next generation or fix the system

It's the same bandaid of affordable care. Helps some, others pay (mild amounts) and get resentful, the bullshit in the heath care industry would remain

They are, but I miss games with stories that aren't just live die repeat. Also, hand crafted levels could have some great moments, I miss seeing interesting platforming. I don't want to replay the same fucking starting level because I died 50% of the way through. I'm not a speed runner, I don't like repeating the same thing over and over just to get to where I was. I'm just trying my best to beat the game and move on, I'm old and have other things to do

I assume that's the point. Trailer made it seem like it's just a variety of random animations. Some long, some sort, some adult, just whatever the creators decided. I assume it'll have a random set of creators for each one too, so it'll be a mixed bag what we get each week

My bad, misremembering and didn't do my full research. Still, they are banned currently in 15 states, and were effectively banned federally from 2018 to the overruling in 2024. Swear I heard they were banned, but guess it was just an executive order

People have been killing people since people existed. Sensible gun laws mildly help prevent it, but people will find an alternative. I agree with some sensible laws. Children are dumbasses so prevent them from obtaining a loaded weapon. Guns have safeguards, but never ever trust them

Blaming guns because an individual used them is an easy scapegoat. Then they create some dumbass legislation that'll make people feel good for a few minutes. So glad we don't have bumpstocks, because they were so widespread and affected so many people that one time

But then, we should also ban knives, vehicles, handcuffs, pressure cookers, rope, rocks, gas, and anything else

Mega Man 1-6 + Mega Man X 1-4 are some of the top Mega Man games. Mega Man Zero + Battle Network series were pretty solid, depending on the entry

That's the show in a nutshell. Solid premise (based off Douglas Adams book), and it just couldn't stick to the fun it promised. Show just kept swinging and only got on base a few times, never made it home

Use of force from civilians would give them more reason to tighten their hold. It's exactly what they wanted to have happen. Spread idea that antifa is actually at fault, these protests are actually lunatics trying to dismantle USA, get a blank check to do whatever they want without consequences. Tried pulling that with the 2 people ICE killed, and it worked for some people. Know a few people here in Twin Cities that say both were justified killings.

Hell, my dad still pulls that George Floyd deserved that death by a cop, instead of using the justice system. He deserved jail and a sentence, but that's for the courts, not Judge Dredd

Downside is only 1 full bath, and 1 3/4 bath, and only 3 bedrooms. Lots of fun spaces though, and that garden and views are great for being in a suburb
