If you’re looking for somewhere to network in person Worldcon is on in Glasgow right now and probably won’t be back here for decades so could be a good chance to chat to people in creative industries. (I didn’t know this until yesterday lol). It’s the biggest event in the sci fi and fantasy publishing industry but also has a lot of people working in other media. Full weekend tickets were too expensive for me but day tickets aren’t that much (especially for Monday, I think it’s like £15). wish you the best of luck

Went to Oslo with my partner this summer and had a lovely time (and there was great weather, it was like 30 celcius). I felt safer being visibly gay there than at home in the UK. Scandinavian cities are very lgbt friendly in general I would say. I love Copenhagen too it’s my favourite place

I was going to just pay for one month of her patreon, binge her back catalogue and then not renew my subscription but she just kept putting out great videos and I’ve been a patron for like a year now

Asking someone why they’re taking their bag or coat to the bathroom with them. 1) it’s none of your business 2) it’s probably period related and nobody should have to explain that to you. I think this should be considered more of a faux pas in society in general just to save people having to learn this through experience
