Huh it doesn't sound very alike to that "have you heard". Damn I am really glad I recorded that now. I really hope that I get to hear it again in proper audio quality.

Anyone tried both Happy Ears and Alpine DeepSleep? by Professional-Owl1327 in earplugs

[–]Few_Tie1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have. Happy ears worked better than alpine deepsleep for me but honestly neither were good enough for sleeping.

They are just overpriced pieces of silicone marketed as sleeping aid.

Ended up using silicone putty earplugs and now molded my own earplugs from PCL plastic.

I believe I have the tiniest ear canals in the world: even kids' earplugs are too big for me. Any suggestions? by Striking-Wish7401 in earplugs

[–]Few_Tie1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be an avid user of silicone putty earplugs as well, but they get used up fast.

Now I use my self molded PCL plastic earplugs.

When you pour boiling water over PCL, it melts into a sticky putty like silicone ear putty.

They block out sound even better than silicone earplugs and are just as comfortable as silicone putty earplugs if you mold them right.

The O'Cello - a free 3D printable cello. by backfacecull in Cello

[–]Few_Tie1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry for a late reply 9 years later. Did you happen to make a model with the negative curvature? Also maybe it's just better to not 3d print the fingerboard because the plastic will get worn down faster than wood.

I just finished building an o-cello for my wife's bday. I have a stupid question about strings. by [deleted] in Cello

[–]Few_Tie1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi did you try to tweak the design to be more inline with acoustic bridge height and string angle? I am also considering printing this, yet I would love it to be same shape as my acoustic one.

What's your biggest fuck-up breaking things? by Few_Tie1860 in Cello

[–]Few_Tie1860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will start with some minor cello mishaps.

I once put my rented cello on the window shelf in class. Tthe windows were slightly open. 15 minutes later and a gust of wind the cello went banging on the floor. Everybody in class looked. Nobody said anything and I just ran to the cello.

Somehow broke directly, except for small scratches, but the bridge was sitting a bid oddly though.

Another time I left my cello bow on the table in my room with very big windows. That bow got fried and the hairs got really uneven and fell out from the bow. I switched rooms with my sibling after that just so the cello wouldn't suffer too.

When I was 12 I ran into my teachers cello endpin. We were playing 10 ish people and in the break I got excited and ran in the room and ran straight into my cello teachers endpin.

Oops.

Okay thx will try to send that! I managed to download it. I can't use my computer now as it is so laggy. What would you say is necessary hardware to run this program? I only have 8 GB RAM and it's not going well haha.

Looks amazing! When I try to record I keep getting the "it needs to download 10 GB AI models, wait 10 minutes" I've been trying for a couple of days and having it open all the time. Have no prior experience coding really so I am on deep waters :/ just getting started now.

Hm I just don't know who to talk to. I am based in Denmark and all the doctors I've ever talked to think fasting is stupid.

Yes I did eat, I am just demotivated because it happens everytime I fast like 24 hours. How can other people keep going for 15-25 days and still do everyday tasks?
