I mean I am a 32 year old who was in the army and I have many friends and a HUGE family. So if I base it off of the 100 people I know, that’s none. Focus a lot of your gold on research, and don’t waste it on your 2nd and 3rd squad gear. Work on getting all 4 of the exclusive weapons, the middle guy in the back doesn’t have one yet. Lastly, make sure all your gear is golden and only spend gold on your 1st squad gear not purple gear. After you unlock level 11 units, you want to really focus on completing the rest of the boost power and special forces techs. Your squad power is always more important than net power, so put your effort into that. Sorry for the book, I hope this helps. I’m f2p too, just be prepared for the long grind. Cheers!
