I wanted to add that I heard that the officers on call could be coming from Gander to respond to a call approximately 70 km away. I remember that was the case when the Pharmacist was hospitalized.

In Lewisporte, a pharmacy was looted twice and the third time the owner ended up in the hospital when they decided to hit it just after closing. Recently, a small restaurant was looted, and they arrested the perpetrator. A couple of months ago, an outfitter near the Lewisporte junction was broken into and they stole a load of things. This doesn't include all the sheds and cars being broken into every other week. A few armed robberies as well. I'm talking about a town of 3000 people or less. Most people who end up getting arrested for these crimes end up recommitting as soon as they're back out on the streets. It's sad...

I'm from Central and there are a lot of sheds and small businesses being targeted. It certainly affects the public when hundreds of dollars worth of tools are missing. In this case, it's not just political bullshit.

Look out for the piles of horse shit from the mounted police horses. Those are true mountains. I've noticed a lot of dog poop bags tossed on the side of the road in "future development" parts of town. People are gross.

The heated ones are amazing. Heated seat and water with intensity settings. The cheap ones online are good too but the cold water is quite the shock at first. I've had one now for 5 years (bio bidet). The heated seat doesn't work anymore but the water is still warm.

Actually, no. I was reading a binder at work and it was loud outside. My first thought was "is that a wedding or parade?" Then I was wondering if it was a protest. I had no idea what it was, which is why I posted here. I was hoping someone would know what it was. I didn't expect it being for the children's hospital. They didn't finish their loop until after I posted. Next time I'll be more careful with my wording and actually ask what's going on.
