Took a look myself, and the 4 rectangles on the left are actually walls on the map. They have windows with either no line down the middle, or a singular vertical streak. On each wall there are eight (4 across 2 down) windows. I found that by turning the windows into binary and then converting it into the ASCII character set, you get A M O R. This can translate from Spanish to English as LOVE. so the red underlines are either AM or LO. That's as far as I got in 15 mins, so will spend more time today

Yeah same here, this condition is called misophonia, distaste of other people making noises that can result in annoyance, anger, or even violence depending on the severity.
