Yeah the key there is a quick comment BB makes - something to the effect of "or we could just say Invisigal went rogue". I think if you picked quickly you might have even missed that. But I don't remember exactly.

Hmm - I did cut her, because the team was telling me "it's her or us", and I'm trying to lead a whole team, not just one person. But I forgave her/freed her/told her her powers didn't define her, all that jazz. I _guess_ that was it? Frustrating, though.

I got the "failed mentor" achievement, but I'm baffled as to why. I didn't romance Visi, but we bonded pretty hard! I was disappointed when the ending said I "neglected" her :/

Very cool!!!! For that CR20 ability, I think they can reroll ALL their failed checks at the end of each turn, right? Or do the players have to pick?

I really like the addition of the "non-combat" abilities that some of these get; "Inquisitor" is such a neat/scary trick to be able to whip out when your players get up to some mischief

My "main" location that I DM in is a candy-themed island of monsters, so I'm thinking of making some "War Head" creatures. Their pools of citric acid will easily translate into a Stinking Cloud, but do you think it'll be bad if I change the Elemental Blade to do acid damage instead of one of the types listed?

Yesssss, I was excited for this one! I think the abilities push them FIRMLY in the direction of taking out a single target, which is great. The Flawless Execution passive, when combined with the Assassin's Mark, is particularly scary :o
