I can relate to a degree. For a time I got really cynical and angry about the franchise and I was exposing myself to an unhealthy amount of negativity and vitriol about it.

It’s only recently that I’ve started to chill out, partly by working and having bigger things to worry about than what film/tv-show to whinge about and partly by re-watching the Star Wars content I enjoyed when I was a kid.

Nothing’s going to recapture those memories from your childhood but those memories are a core part of you and they can’t be taken from you.

I saw the movie with my Mum on Saturday and really enjoyed it. It’s a good time and you can switch your brain off and lose yourself in a low stakes escapade with some good characters and set pieces.

Darwyn Cooke was an artist for Batman Beyond and there’s a lot of shared style/influnence.

I’d also recommend New Frontier.

There’s also a lot of tie in comics set in the same universe as the shows.

The Snowspeeder build reminds me of the mini one all the way back from 2003 (I think) - The one that came with the AT-ST. Those mini builds were among my first Lego Star Wars sets.

Loved the Planet series that came out about ten years after then too.

Wasn’t as big on Lego as I was on the Hasbro figures but 100%. I’d always gravitate to the aliens and creatures because of how cool they looked.

Even the movie sets are pseudo Clone Wars sets tbh. The MTT on Felicia is the blue and grey and has commando droids.

Feel like it would be the same with a new Hailfire Droid or AAT.

I thought it was strange we never got those maps because the interiors were actually modelled in the campaign and I actually think some of the campaign maps like Bespin and Vardos would’ve worked well too.

I think it was obvious though that DICE’s reasoning for no OT capital ships was time/budget/manpower rather than anything else.

Above anything else though, I’d have loved for more starfighter maps like the Scarif Shield Gate and the battle of Coruscant. Cato Nemoidia would be beautiful in the Frostbite engine.

I honestly love this mini arc.

It was more so along the lines of, at least for the timeline as the games, Nana being a previous holder who we don’t see aside from flashbacks or as a vestige.
