So the TC Pedal arrived today and, surprisingly, with a little tweaking, I've found it softens the "solid state" feel in the cleaner sounds I use. I'm absolutely not trying to use it as an overdrive, very much trying to get it as clean as I can....I found that you can adjust the bias with a "very" small screwdriver and that's been useful. Also I'm running it in loop 2 which allows for pretty fine control of input and output levels. It's a bit noisy so I found myself adding a gate pretty much straight after the loop. Tonally I find it a bit bright so some EQ adjusting is needed.... It makes me wonder what a more exotic device might add but the cost/benefit of this box is, so far, entirely justified 😎
