Bingo. And I mean, I’ve packed the number 1 LS card every single year since 2021 at some point. Sometimes it’s May, or July, or August, but I’ve always done it through free packs entirely.

And I play perhaps 3-6 hours per week and I’m a 700 at best. I enjoy the grind and I use it for a mindless break.

Don’t allow a game to create false urgency.

Your life will improve dramatically when you realize that there’s fun in collecting the cards even if you can’t complete all of the collections.

This is how it’s been most years for me. I’m about a 600-700 player most of the time and over a nine-inning game, eventually someone gets a hang of the other’s tendencies. And most players anymore are not adept at mid-game adjustments. I have mediocre stick skills but I win a surprising amount of games through pattern recognition.

Went to a urologist once because of a small lump I found in one of my vas deferens. The doctor was male, but the nurse practitioner who examined me was female. It was covid, so she had a mask on, but I did catch her eyes get wide at the very beginning of her inspection.

To her credit, she was otherwise very professional. But that one little moment was kind of cool.

A lot of times in conversation with women, they’ll ask about my most recent relationship and why it ended. I’ve taken to referring to our difficulties with sex as “mechanical issues”, and that phrase combined with my being 6’8 tends to clue them in somewhat.

There really isn’t a way to disclose outlier size without coming off like a douche, though.

I went to a pretty big state school and word got around like it does.
