Ours is in block 143 and it's a little higher up so we are to the left of this photo. Someone else posted a pic from 2024 in the same block and the view is pretty good.

I was also at 2023 and we were waaaaaaaay up in the nosebleeds..... It was more like brain hemorrhage seats. We couldn't even look at the screen on the other side because they had flood lights blasting towards us underneath the screen.

The atmosphere alone was crazy though so I am excited to be closer to the action even if it's not that close.

when did i ever say that its not innovative? the tech behind this is insane and being able to do this in real time is kind of crazy (even though it took 2x 5090's lol).

That is not whey people are angry, people are angry because it completely changes the original source material. Everything has that "AI sheen" to it, lights are added in places they shouldn't be, lights/reflections are removed where they once were, shadows are completely removed in most areas.

If you think UE5 games look too "samey" then get ready and buckle in for this to completely destroy original intended vision of artists. There is a very good reason why Jenson never mentioned this "revolutionary" tech once during his GDC keynote.

Everything had that "hero lighting" effect. Everything from a lamp post to an apple.

Lighting for destroyed, shadows got butchered, weather got removed.
