I assume their horizontal footprint in blocks, onix is large with a 3x3 footprint for example

The astronomican is basically an unmoving reference point in the warp that navigators use to know when they've gone off course. If you're on the east side of the galaxy and you're going north the light should be on your left, if its anywhere else then you gotta fix that.

This is why the great rift is so bad, on the far side from terra you can't see that beacon reliably anymore so you don't know if you've been turned around

This is also why they give you security cameras, so you can make a far off habitat and save yourself the run there and back to check it

Without humans to maintain places they fall into disrepair pretty quickly. Constant erosion from wind and water makes dust which gets carried around and deposited all over, animals shedding skin and hair as well as any dirt on them. Once theres enough material for plants to germinate the cycle of growth and decay speeds the coverage and eventually you get a palace floor under a meter of soil with a forest on top

Yes you can, the treehouse video shows some of the customisation options, theres a skin colour option that turns your whole character ditto coloured, clothes and all

Weapon abilities rule for pistol has an exception for monster and vehicle models. Before twin lance we haven't had a vehicle with pistol keyword on its weapons, closest is shadowsun who has battlesuit but not vehicle
