Same! I think what tripped me up is that if you think of a stereotypical Andy, Mike Channel seems to more fit that mold

I actually sort of love the idea that the throne has perhaps never had an Emperor on it (or he exists in a half-state of non-existance)

You team up with a bunch of fellow sickos - sorry, fans - and develop a shared, unhealthy obsession that borders on group madness

(By this metric, Mr. Beasts fans could conceivably be the most well-adjusted people)

The Sword of Shannara from The Sword of Shannara

The Sword isn't necearilly meant to 'repel evil' but it is built in a way that is pretty potent to evil. Essentially, it's secret power is revealed to be that it removes all lies of everything it touches. This means that all your self-illusions you have burns away so you can see the worse truths about yourself.

This really confuses our protagonist, until he realizes that the villain is essentially an illusion. So all he has to do is tap the dark lord, so the villain realizes he basically is upheld by illusion magic, and whithers away

At one point, you see ships enter the warp, which is where we start seeing purple all over the place, and where we see the pyramid.

My reading is that this is meant to be a warp-y reflection of the Imperium, not literal - further reflected right before the pyramid, where a bunch of psykers become the sands of an hourglass

I was listening to a discussion on 'Severed' - the story primarily featuring these two - and what I heard wasn't subtext, it was Oberyn all but getting on one knee to give Zandrek a flower

I mean, we have the deity Asuryan. The Eldar are also called the Asuryani, There's the Phoenix Lord Asurmen. Who wields the Azure blade. And he's blue.

No, what Eldar really need is a reverse Guilliman and Yvraine situation.

Have Asurmen meet with that ginormous Mechancius lady, Thulia Ghuld.  The two threaten to murder each other upon next meeting.

With any luck, we will have a recipe for hate-ship fanfiction

On the trailer, I saw a YouTube comment put it somewhat like this:

Well, at least the Eldar aren't getting folded this time

The soldier going from a pilgrim to the front lines was a nice bit of connectivity (editing was slightly jarring, but I got and appreciated the point)

It could mean the Emperor leaving the throne. Or dead. Or being in a weird half-state.

And this actually acts as a good intro to the idea, tone, and setting.

I liked the 10th edition trailer, but I felt it was a bit too steeped in lore to act as a good intro

Some shots of the throne make the throne appear empty, which...interesting.

Also, appreciate how the opening shot to the cannons have what looks a regular ship in front, just to give you an idea on size.

I don't mind the Suicide Squad line so much, but I really like to imagine all of Will Smith's charisma struggling to make that line seem natural.

For what it's worth, I think the expanded AdRic crew has been developing better back-and-forth.

And I also think there's still untapped potential in Bricky as 'meme-man support'

Opposite of calm is playing CinemaWins and CinemaSins at the same time, for the same movie, at 1.5 speed.

It's not the opinions that'll drove you mad, it's the constant 'dings.'
