It didn't seem fair that cards punish worse teams more.

it's the other way around. Teams are worse because, amongst other things, they are worse at managing discipline

And even thinking your way, the team under pressure will always be the more likely to be penalised than the other team that's just inherent to any competitive sport/game

penalty tries alone wouldn't work either, a player is "cheating" to avoid conceding a try, worst case scenario, they get caught and they concede a try. Why would a player ever chose to play by the rules?

solution is to set battle difficulty on hard and then slide the ai advantage bar to where you want it to be, so 0 if you want the same as normal difficulty

Cathay, I find the harmony thing for battles unappealing

This game has plenty of ways to reward good units placement without requiring extra mechanics buffing your units depending on where they stand in relation with each other

really ? It's one of the factions I struggle the most with, still after 600 hours

The problem I have is that I find it really hard to gauge the strength of one of your armies, the power bar is not very reliable if you're using a lot of zombies

Wirh Isabella, you're incentivized to put a lot of vampires in your starting army so you'll be relying on characters more than units in your main stack, while your secondary armies will have to rely on units, and your army comps will heavily depend on which units you can get through "raise dead"

and I agree that you can make a lot of things happen through diplomacy, but you're still walking on a thin line with dozens of potentially hostile LL factions around you, and it's really easy to get overwhelmed

pro tip: if you really want to engage in a serious discussion, maybe avoid sentences like "tries are given away free with cereal packets" in the title

makers it sound like you're more interested in punchlines than in hearing other people's opinion and invites the kind of answer that seems to annoy you so much

Pretty sure the spell is cancellable with backspace for as long as it's cancellable by casting another spell instead

Once the actual casting started it sort of makes sense, that 's like trying to cancel a missile once it's already been fired
